Graham is still a highly respected DC. With rare exception, no defense can succeed when your offense is consistently one of the lowest scoring in the league.

Wilson had three years in the same system and worked with Maxx the entire time yet never improved and ended up being a marginal depth player.

Anyway, after this trade, the Saints will never do business with Raiders again.

Rumor has it that the Saints valued Tyree Wilson's physical makeup because they have a lot of items in the locker room on high shelves and wanted someone with elite length to reach them.

Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 3:33 am And your evidence for this assertion? NOTE: "I'm an expert in player evaluation because I say so" does not qualify. And if he was more talented than Jacobs, why did he get a grand total of four carries in the NFL after he left this organization? Why do you think you know better than 32 NFL coaching staffs?
He participated in the combine, and by all sources is more athletic than Josh Jacobs. Jacobs didn't participate in the combine because he knew he would fall if he did.

DeAndre Washington is one of the few prospects that participated in the cone/agility drills and had impressive numbers. 24 on the bench is solid for an RB his size.

DeAndre Washington being faster and overall, more athletic, is a key reason why I believe him to be the more talented player.

As far as their career, politics. Besides, you can't really make the career argument as it pertains to Josh Jacobs, because we'd be rehashing the Latavius Murray argument again. An argument, that heavily favors me, by the way.

 Speaking of which, I love how the narrative comparison has shifted from Murray to DeAndre Washington, now that it's established you can no longer argue in favor of Josh Jacobs when matched up against Latavius Murray.

The bad foot? Don’t focus on a foot — look at that body! He has to be good with that body. Certainly worth a gamble at the 7th pick in the first round - great potential with those measurables.

It wasn’t a crazy pick in any way at the time. Insane that he was highly rated after watching him play fir a few years.

I’d say we knew when Wilson was drafted that zero twitch is bad. And by “we” I mean the general public. Btw, Mayer, AOC, and Tucker are the only guys left from the 2023 draft now that Molasses has become a Saint.

I can remember starting to become aware of no twitch being a bad thing when the next be-all-end-all DE coming into the league was Mario Williams. Drafted by the Texans in 2006 and everyone was gushing about him. Guy was on all the magazines. For all the hoopla, meh. No f’n twitch.

A step stool would be much cheaper, take up less space, give more effort and be more predictable.

True, I am heartless haha
But…the main difference is a step stool won’t collapse under pressure, it was actually made for it.
