Graham is still a highly respected DC. With rare exception, no defense can succeed when your offense is consistently one of the lowest scoring in the league.haji81872 wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 5:49 am With which the number of guys who went else where and thrived, especially D-line, is not a bad assumption to make.
On a roll with the Tyree jokes, chuckerchucker wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 11:31 am Rumor has it that the Saints valued Tyree Wilson's physical makeup because they have a lot of items in the locker room on high shelves and wanted someone with elite length to reach them.
He participated in the combine, and by all sources is more athletic than Josh Jacobs. Jacobs didn't participate in the combine because he knew he would fall if he did.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 3:33 am And your evidence for this assertion? NOTE: "I'm an expert in player evaluation because I say so" does not qualify. And if he was more talented than Jacobs, why did he get a grand total of four carries in the NFL after he left this organization? Why do you think you know better than 32 NFL coaching staffs?
It wasn’t a crazy pick in any way at the time. Insane that he was highly rated after watching him play fir a few years.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 4:00 pm The bad foot? Don’t focus on a foot — look at that body! He has to be good with that body. Certainly worth a gamble at the 7th pick in the first round - great potential with those measurables.
I’d say we knew when Wilson was drafted that zero twitch is bad. And by “we” I mean the general public. Btw, Mayer, AOC, and Tucker are the only guys left from the 2023 draft now that Molasses has become a Saint.Jeevo wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 10:32 pm It wasn’t a crazy pick in any way at the time. A step stool would be much cheaper, take up less space, give more effort and be more predictable.chucker wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 11:31 am Rumor has it that the Saints valued Tyree Wilson's physical makeup because they have a lot of items in the locker room on high shelves and wanted someone with elite length to reach them.

Beg pardon, 'molasses in January.'
NOBODY CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!mranquales wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 3:28 pm He participated in the combine, and by all sources is more athletic than Josh Jacobs. Jacobs didn't participate in the combine because he knew he would fall if he did.
DeAndre Washington is one of the few prospects that participated in the cone/agility drills and had impressive numbers. 24 on the bench is solid for an RB his size.
DeAndre Washington being faster and overall, more athletic, is a key reason why I believe him to be the more talented player.
As far as their career, politics. Besides, you can't really make the career argument as it pertains to Josh Jacobs, because we'd be rehashing the Latavius Murray argument again. An argument, that heavily favors me, by the way.
Speaking of which, I love how the narrative comparison has shifted from Murray to DeAndre Washington, now that it's established you can no longer argue in favor of Josh Jacobs when matched up against Latavius Murray.
Sure, right now it is heartless, but in a few years?chucker wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2026 5:37 am cmon man...... you're just trying to replace people with technology, just like AI. Heartless.
