Klint Kubiak - Officially Head Coach

Unread post by JRaider17 »

Figured it is best to start a new official thread around Kubiak being our HC as the other one was built up so much around the search. His introduction presser is at 11 PST today.

I don't either. Just funny how everything's so close to the vest regarding what we're all pretty sure of.

I've said this from the start. Klint seems to have the "It" factor to him. No nonsense, silent killer type. This team FINALLY has an offensive guru (save the Gruden nonsense) and is on the upswing. I know we've been fooled before but this feels significantly different.

The league wants there to at least be a shred of doubt too - teams never say who it's going to be. Long ago, before the rookie wage scale, there were some picks essentially made prior to the draft because teams would negotiate with the guy they wanted at 1 to be sure he wouldn't hold out for too much money.

You could have just bought a regular authentic Jamarcus jersey.

Mark seems to really like not having to be the front man for the whole organization. Like the way he shot down that Crosby question.

To me it feels different because of course the new hc seems legit but more importantly, imo, the entire front office seems to be legit and be on the same page for the first time in however many years you wanna name

I have to give credit to some other guys, maybe even O'Connell. There were quite a few players there today. They showed off him greeting a good dozen players. Forgive me though for finding it hilarious you lumped O'connell in with Brock and Maxx.
Kubiak said he saw Brock earlier and when they called for him during the interview the cameras couldn’t locate him, might not have attended the press conference.

That too. I know many wanted to get rid of Spy but not me. Keeping him was the right call.

NoThanksSir wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 1:26 pm Like I said. Maxx's actions are different, that's notable. You gave a bunch of ridiculous excuses that could easily be disproven. He was in the building this morning, but his rehab appointment would be here and then he left? As far as I know, most grade schools this time of year have a daddy daughter dance but not on the 10th of February with three days left to go in the week. This is patently asburd, and more ridiculous than believing Jay Glazer.

You want to believe what you want to believe, that's fine. It's been said before, Maxx won't be or needs to be resolved right now. So we'll see. But he chose to be there for Josh, Pierce, and Pete but not Klint. That is not up for debate.
If Josh, Pierce, and Pete were today, Maxx still would not have been there..If Klint were there last year, Max would have been there. Maxx didn't need to be there today. Klint was the overshadowing presence--Him and the Teflon Don who is Spytek.
