On to the Giants
Two week away from this season being over. With another terrible team coming to town.

Unfortunately I think you are right.KillerRaider30 wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 11:08 am Maybe we should start thinking who to draft at 7?
Tackle, DE? LB? DT?
Sigh
I was thinking O tackle but BPA at our spot would be best.
Guard in the second.
More than one O line in free agency.
And.....
new coach.

Tackle. We need to be able to spring Jeanty more often.KillerRaider30 wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 11:08 am Maybe we should start thinking who to draft at 7?

BPA other than RB or TE.KillerRaider30 wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 11:08 am Maybe we should start thinking who to draft at 7?

It's a straight tire fire everywhere. I get the oline argument, but that defense is weak as f[raiders_icon]ck too.

Yes, a killer D tackle would improve the D a great dealDeathStar24 wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 11:16 am BPA other than RB or TE.

What veteran QBs will be available? Either by free agent or possible trade?

If we sign Kyler Murray I quit. I don't think Giants would trade Dart but I guess it's not out of the question.RickRyb wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 12:45 pm What veteran QBs will be available? Either by free agent or possible trade?

Mac Jones or McKee if we go FA route.

Daniel Jones right now, but my bet is he signs a longer term contract with the colts
Russ is going to retire as will Rodgers
Mariota should retire but he likes being a backup
My guess is Mac Jones sticks as his contract is very cheap to keep
Same with McKee, cheap contract
My guess is that if we do not get a high end rookie, we keep Geno and that would be that. If we get a high end rookie, my guess is we might keep Geno and let them compete. I am at a total loss as to why we would do that but that is my guess. It is a very Carroll thing

If Washington can squeeze out one win the worst we draft would be #6....but Dallas and Philly are their last two games...

f[raiders_icon]ck that, if Brady is willing to deflate balls and destroy his phone I’m not buying he can’t get to Graham and Olson and let them know it’s time to lose.

If not, he has no business being a head coach!DrDUne wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 9:02 am Case in point, Kolton Miller. I don't care how 'ready' he is. Shut him down and don't risk reinjuring the foot of an integral part of the offensive line. Unfortunately, I don't believe Carroll sees it that way, at all.

Jordyn Tyson would be my pick at 7. The pick pretty much speaks for itself. We have a true #1 WR to space the floor for Jeanty and also draw attention away from Brock Bowers. It also helps the OL when you have a receiver consistently getting open for a QB to throw to. Drafting Tyson does 10x more for our offense then getting OL, contrary to popular belief.
Olaivavega Ioane would be my pick if we traded down or traded up into the late 1st. Move JPJ to center, have Vega play RG and Laki Tasi at LG. Parnham, Putnam, Mafi, and Cappa as depth. I think Glaze is fine at RT and Drafting Spencer Fano to play RT instead wouldn't improve our team much, if at all. 3 pro bowl talents in the interior to assist in making Jeanty a top 3 RB next year.

If we don’t get a top 2 pick for a QB I’d hope we go tackle. Miller is breaking down and Glaze sucks.

So its ok for teams that have clinched home field advantage to sit players, but not ok for a team with 2 wins from playing their top players ?Raidernation1979 wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 8:10 am If we sit healthy starters I would bet money the league would come down on us. The trick would be to sub them heavily.
