Here we go - new coach, new QB, new exciting RB, and a no-name defense. Not the toughest opening day match up possible as the Patriots also have issues. We are clearly in rebuild mode right? So if we lose I hope this board doesn’t go into melt down mode. Have fun with the new product Raiders fans
May today be the dawning of a new winning tradition for this hallowed franchise that we love so much.

JPJ was preseason HOF material last year. I guess this is what you get when everyone felt he was a real strong bargain when we picked him and we were (still are) desperate for help here. We over-hyped him, he didn't earn it yet, hopefully he does.
It could be argued this is his 2nd year, it's his 2nd offensive/O-line scheme and he's playing a different position. Hopefully, it will click in for him and he becomes a mauler at guard.

Yep, plenty of time to get on track. Pretty much everyone on the team can come up with crazy coach/coordinator changes during their tenure. When it was said something like AOC had 5 coords in 3 years, that goes for everyone on the offense who's been with us that same period.

I don’t think it’s good that all 3 offensive worst were on the Oline.

Nope,not good, well we did see that on the last offensive series when we were supposed to run out the clock.

Agreed. That being said, I assumed before the game that a Vrabel-coached team would not be "run" all over. Barmore, Williams, Landry, etc are a tough group. This does not absolve the Raiders o-line of needing to do better, I just believe this was a worthy Week 1 run defense. Needs to be better Week 2 if they want to keep Herbert & Co. off the field.

I just read McDouche called 1 running play in the 2nd half, good lord. I double checked I see 3 runs in the 2nd half, still...

Hopefully they don't futz around with him any further and give him time to figure out RG. I'm not a fan of moving guys around but after seeing him play yesterday I totally understand him not being trusted to play center. If he is given time at guard he has the traits to succeed.

I don't even care for Tyree Wilson but him being ranked bottom 3 in PFF is an example of the click bait that I mentioned earlier.

Typical Pete Carroll, smaller rotation, very limited substitution. Less than half the plays we had 5 or more DBs.
DT Butler 61, Booker 42, Laulu 29, Hemingway 11
DE Crosby 71, Wilson 38, Koonce 32
DB Stokes, Kelly, Chinn and Pola-Mao got all 71 snaps
Holmes got 29 and Edmunds got 1.
White 71, Pratt 65, Adams 25, Eichenberg 14, Roberts 11
