I know you can only get hyped for so much on highlight videos, but he runs routes and reminds me so much of Randy Moss. If I was Pete I would find a personal coach that can up his game, this could be the best pick of the draft.

It also doesn't matter to me because it doesn't appear to have hurt the team in terms of cash they are able to spend on players and current coaches - I think that hiring Carroll and Kelly proves that there isn't a cash shortage.

I don't give a shit what we're paying to former (or current) coaches.

As far as Thorton, he has marquee potential.[/quote]Hmmm.. not a bad projection on Tucker. He is undersized but super fast -- 5'9" and 185 but a 4.32 40. They use him on jet sweeps. He hands seems to be average to me. He was a third round pick, #100 overall, so they have something invested him. I would say 50/50 on being cut/traded. Here is the WR "room" before we get going this spring/summer:

Alex Bachman, Jack Bech, Jeff Foreman, Shedrick Jackson, Tyreik McAllister, Jakobi Meyers, Kyle Philips, Dont'e Thornton Jr., Tre Tucker, and Kristian Wilkerson.

Unless these former practice squad players and off-season pickups are some hidden gems, the room is not crowded with talent. If they kept 5, I think Tucker stays. What do you think?

Tucker is cheap he will be in the rotation until his contract expires. But he certainly hasnt shown enough to be a target for a second contract at this point.

I think Tucker will do more than Thornton this year. If anyone had a terrible situation last year it was Tucker.

Tucker seemed to be coming along fine until last year. Was it the coaching that seemingly affected several players growth? I think this coming season will be telling

I am looking forward to both Tucker and Thornton (who I think is going to be a big surprise). They are different kinds of speedsters and I expect both to help. You can never have enough WR's (especially since to cupboard was bare).
