Figured it is best to start a new official thread around Kubiak being our HC as the other one was built up so much around the search. His introduction presser is at 11 PST today.

Gruden drafted him so it makes sense he wasn't there, but yea I remember him being at McDaniels, Pierce, and Carroll's. So first one he missed. You might be right, he might just be letting the dust settle on the way last season ended. But it seems like he surely would have been invited, and for whatever reason didn't show. Either way, I do think it's noteworthy.

Mark Davis was there sitting in the seats with the reporters, etc.

I usually don't let the intro pressers fire me up but this one did, so calm but so calculated in his comments

I'm seeing Raider fans legit saying the cup of coffee squashes any narrative around him not being there lol. That sounds like a bullshit line from a front office who doesn't want to tank his trade value.

He said more than a quick cup of coffee. He said he was first in and working out. Why would that be something more than it just is. Klint is not part of the PR machine, if he said it, I think that it happened just as he said.

I think Maxx is there working out regardless. All we can do is compare Maxx's previous actions from his current ones. Why was he in the building this morning, working out, had a cup of coffee, but chose to not be a part of the rest of the day? He did it for Josh, Pierce, and Pete. You don't have an answer for that, I don't either. But it's different, so it's noteworthy.
