The amount of salt on Chiefs Planet is amusing. They are bellyaching about how “it’s not them, the USA will start chanting we want Mahomes etc.”

Couldn’t have happened to a “better” fan base.

As far as the game, I think New England has enough trophies at the moment. Seatle can even their SB record to .500. And hand the Pats their 3rd? Loss. I can live with that.
This is an annual reunion with my old work crew. We’ve been retired for awhile. Hanging out, practicing out to 600 yards, hunting for a week is what it is all about. Coming home with elk is just icing on the cake at that point.

I live about 15 minutes from the stadium, so we got to see the flyover for free. A few times actually, since they were practicing earlier today.

Plunkett should have been on the field for the coin toss instead of Lynn Swann. Dude played HS about 10 miles from the stadium, won the Heisman at Stanford about 10 miles the other direction, and won a Super Bowl for the Raiders about 25 miles away.
