Not sure how I feel about this one. The losses tend to blend into each these days but at least they had some fight.

Gallery was a bust at left tackle but he turned out to be a decent guard. Washington was gone after 3 years. If I remember right, he was barely an above average corner. If only Rodgers could run a 4.2 40 or throw the ball 100 yards, maybe Al would have taken him. So many what-coulda-been’s because of Al’s flaming fetish for speed.
It's all just a fog rising up from a sewer when thinking about the number of players we missed with all the first round picks we've had.

I was at the game..siting three rows up on the 10 yard line to the left of the Raiders bench. For the 1st quarter and half it felt like we were going to have another Minnesota Vikings scoreless game--then Bowers got going which elevated Jeanty's ability to catch the short screen out of the backfield.

Together they can be a deadly duo when healthy and being used correctly. I noticed that Jags defenders were trying to step in front of Bowers like they do Tucker and Jakobi to pic off Geno but they can't body him the way they do the other guys. They bounce off him like rain on a windshield and at times even get injured. Bowers is a game changer and this offense is completely inept without him (healthy) when playing higher caliber opponents. If they could get a WR1, OT/OG, and uppwr echelon QB, this offense could cook.

I have videoss of the early Raiders pic of Lawrence in the endzone and Bowers 1st TD as they happened. Then was right that to see Jeanty's late TD on the screen, and Bowers 2nd TD really showcasing his speed. I have no problen Pete going for 2 at this stage in fact I was calling it that Raiders will go for 2 if they score as soon as Jags scored their OT TD.

If the Raiders finished every game like this playing with heart and determination for the remainder of the season, I'm ok with it win or lose understanding a loss can be as good as a win if we draft correctly and sign some solid FAs in the offseason to get Bowers and Jeanty some real help.

Firing coaches every year and a half has worked very well for the last 25 years or so. It is a proven recipe for success.

Having said that, PC may be too old, dementia or whatever but he is in season 1

90% of us are wanting him fired weeks ago. My question to all is what is the worst that can happen if we give a guy a few years? If we keep firing people every 18 months, the roster is a shotgun of players that fit a scheme of the GM each previous year. Logically how can anybody be surprised if they suck on the first season?

It’s been a shitshow revolving door for over 20 years…..I’m all for PC staying on and watching what happens next year and one more year after.

The alternative hasn’t worked either

Well I would agree if PC had done anything to Improve the team from the dumpster fire that was last year, and he has done Squat actually we have Digressed, anyone that thinks a 74 year old HC on a 3 contract is going to change things is delusional, especially when the assumption was that he would leave his Glorious tenure as HC of the Raiders to non-other than Chip Kelly who is just as putrid as PC! I get it, but this regime is dead in the water it's obvious cut your losses & move the f[raiders_icon]ck on...just saying dude it;s not going to get better! And f[raiders_icon]ck scheme and all those made up excuses it can be done in a year just look at Vrabel & the Pats.

It all comes down to this for me. If you were screaming and hollering for Pierce to be fired then you have to be on the same boat for Carrol. He somehow found a way to be equally as bad if not worse.

Personally I'd of fired him after the KC game.

I just posted same thing in Geno thread. The amount of times I've watched him not see the field JUST this year is baffling. He's f[raiders_icon]cking terrible.
