Why do I have a thought that with Gruden trying to get back into coaching, MD will fire everyone and give Gruden a blank check again? Someone please tell me Im crazy!

Mark ain't selling. Period, give it up, ain't happening.

As for our GM, like many he had his hits and misses. The line is a huge miss but it was only the first year and they were tinkering with other aspects of the lineup. I will bet that gets addressed next off season hard.

The only reason I keep saying he needs to just sell the freaking team is it’s been over 20 years of his ownership and complete crap. Does he control everything who knows really honestly, who knows what is he doing and now what is Brady doing? Do we honestly really know? I just want a fresh start from the top down. That’s all there is to it.

I want Brady to bring his billion trillionaire arab buddies in that have so much more money than God does that they can do anything they want and let’s just try that for once, yes, there are salary caps. Yes i get it but you know what when you have billions of dollars in cash because you pump it out of the ground good things can happen

I would just feel better with a fresh start new owner. I’m just tired. I’m tired of defending this team. I’m tired of the text every week for decades. The text that never seemed to stop from friends.

I believe this. The line will be addressed next year as literally nothing happens without it. I’m surprised they didn’t address it first as no Qb or RB will have success behind ours. Same goes for any OC. Who knew even a below average Qb could win with a decent game plan and enough time for their receivers to get out of their break?

I used to be proud when we had the best record on MNF. Seems so long ago. Over the last couple of decades I’ve hated loving this franchise like I do.

Genuinely feel bad for Raider fans who think Mark Davis is the problem. Especially because with the new ownership rule changes, it's all but guaranteed Mark isn't going anywhere. I understand you're frustrated and the weird looking dude is an easy target, so take it out. It might be completely off base but you've earned it

Really? This clown let the players convince him AP should be head coach. Nuff said. He's clueless when it comes to personnel.

I simply think there is a lot more that goes into the team playing like they did yesterday. But I understand why it feels good to bash on Mark so go ahead.

I am simply stating facts. I'm not bashing the guy for leaving Oakland. He was correct there. But his personnel history is horrible. He deserves most of the blame whether you want to believe it or not.

"No he finally got out of the way and had nothing to do with any of this". Team is crap "it's all Mark's fault".
You can't make this crap up
IMO you really can’t blame fans for reacting to forty years of crap time and again.

If anything we should all be super negative until proven otherwise with this “franchise” such that it is.

Think about this. Simply flipping a quarter (on a long enough scale) will produce better results than the Raiders winning percentage.

So if fans are inconsistent with how they view the Raiders I think they can be given some slack.

Brady isn't letting Gruden back in the building.

Nah when you look at it? 39 if you want to be pedantic about it.

There were a few mirages here and there like Gruden’s first tenure and the flukes of 2016 and 2021. But overall it’s my contention it can be traced to a specific year and game:

1986.

Marcus Allen fumbles late in the game against an Eagles team that ended up 5-10-1.

https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm ... story.html

The Raiders started 0-3, clawed their way back in and then lost four straight staggering to an 8-8 finish.

It marked the end of the glory years, we just didn’t recognize it for what it was at the time.

A few years here and there have happened, like 1990 only to get annihilated by the Bills in the AFCCG. 1993, Gruden’s first tenure, etc.

But since then it’s really been a story of forty-ish years of failure punctuated by a few fleeting glimpses of what other franchises call normal.

The last forty years when looked at critically isn’t pretty.

I agree. Just being light hearted, but MD's love for all things Gruden, trumps everything else. This organization is a complete soap opera so I wouldn't put anything past MD at this point
