Ya but mad respect for Chimaev handling it like he did. I’ve never seen a champion “get beat” and wrap the belt around the new champion himself. You rarely see that in top level competition, and never in MMA
The belt thing just made me think Chimaev was in on it lolViper wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 6:16 am Ya but mad respect for Chimaev handling it like he did. I was wondering the same, but to be fair it’s not a body building contest.Raidernation1979 wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 6:19 am The real question is how does Maxx work so hard and in the building fails yet he isn’t big and has like no muscle definition.
Ok, now that one deserves to be deleted ha
That Goat f[raiders_icon]cker probably got an extra 5 million show up in his bitcoin account lol

Yup, and that's what matters most. Most of this other stuff is simply white noise and click bait.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 8:49 am That’s one thing Maxx and Cur have in common, they’re both so incredibly “try-hard” when it comes to wanting to appear cool. I get the cringe, but I’m old, what would I know about what the cool kids are doin’. At least Maxx is good at football.
It is obvious why he did this. He did so no team would offer very much in trade for him.

Agreed, same, very similar to the Mad Stork, the length of his arms to keep blockers off their bodies is huge for speed rushers, a slap down on the arms is much each to get released, than a Tackles arms up in their pits and chest.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 10:25 am I am also surprised how "un-buffed" Maxx is, but the results on the field show it doesn't matter. As KillerRaider30 says -- it might be core. Maxx reminds me of Ted Hendricks. The Mad Stork was super strong in the core and despite his lanky build, could leverage guys out of his way with, at times, ease. Hendricks tore a core ab muscle in his last season which cut down his playing time and he retired due to it. Hendriks was 6'7" and 220 and he took on offensive tackles and threw running backs around to get to the QB.
giving mad respect to shawn, this is probably the first time he actually in his heart knows he lostViper wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 6:16 am Ya but mad respect for Chimaev handling it like he did.
