We going WR? Is Burks still there?
Burks would be great here. Please take him. I have a great feeling about him.

I won't have Tyree Wilson to kick around anymore (reference is to Richard Nixon in I think in 1962 talking about the press when he lost his bid to be CA Governor.).

He’s a burner for sure. Another 4.3 guy.

It is true and know the Crawford pick looks better.

Another DB, Dalton Johnson of AZ. The talking heads on ESPN love it. He was very productive in terms of forced fumbles, tackles for loss, pass breakups, and some INTs. He ran a 4.41 at the Combine. From highlights it looks like he played back from the line like a safety even though he is not big. They say he is excellent on special teams. More evidence that the new regime looked at our def. backfield and saw they it has stunk for years -- so rebuilding it. Maybe more evidence that backs up what I posted about -- that our WR room is OK for now.

Are you suggesting Tyree Wilson will run for President six years from now?

McCoy is the exception to my thoughts that you don't take players that cannot play day one if you suck. His tape makes being patient worth the risk. Crawford will play day one and make Crosby's job easier.
The interpretation of suck is objective, I'm not saying Raiders are some Superbowl juggernaught but there were 3 or 4 games last year vs playoff teams where Raiders were the better team on the field..most notably the Bears, (Superbowl participant) Patriots, Jags, and even the Texans. Raiders were grossly mismanaged and out coached last year (evident in multiple blowouts) and at some point Spytek saw the writing on thew wall and went for the 1st round pick through strategic roster management knowing it would provide an opportunity to improve the team in the long run. He let PG, his son, and Geno handle the rest..
What I'm saying is the Raiders sucked more than they should have because the personal was not coached correctly and the QB was not held accountable. Glass half full perspective is Raiders are not as bad as we thought and closer to relevance with right coach and vision
