What’s Cookin' on Gameday 2025

In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.

As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,

Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:

* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

Who's cookin?: Willmark
What: Crockpot breakfast casserole (already cooking now)
Drinks: not sure yet, might be Carmel Apples. Mrs Willmark has her wine.
Snacks? Shrimp Boom Bah is the appetizer

After that? Going to have to plow a bunch of times and make sure the dogs have marrow bones to keep them distracted today.

....same, (comfort food) as we're at about 11 degrees currently, and expecting a foot or so of snow today, so i'm dialing up some goulash.....cheap, easy, and leftovers.....

...funny, just made a big pot of chili last weekend.....going through all of the old favorites, as the weekend prior to that one, it was beef stew.
....anyway, if you never tried a chili omelet, give that a try with your leftovers. I saw one on a breakfast menu one time, and thought it was a not my cup of tea, but then rolled the dice on it some time later using my leftovers, and it is surprising, pretty darn good. ....I use 'taco type' cheese on it....

Well, not well aligned with what is the usual fare, but for starters I have made cauliflower soup with three kinds of cauliflower (purple, green, and white), with carrots, onions, Yukon potatoes, and garlic. Blenderized and added rich coconut milk and spices, including fresh grated ginger. I told you it was not the usual. But, we have had a long stretch of shitty weather in the Sacramento Valley -- foggy, gray, cold, damp -- and hot soup is in order. Will make fresh garlic bread and have red wine. It is a reflection of my 1970's vegetarian/hippie days. I do eat meat -- I recently made a pulled pork slow cooker dish made from a pork shoulder roast. Baked herbed-up chicken wings last night.
