No to Pickens. Sick of head cases, even talented ones.

I agree completely. And I still think Bech can be a good WR. Tucker is pretty good. And Thornton has a chance to develop, even though he's not the prospect that his H/W/S fans believe he is - maybe he gets there but til will take time. I expect that 2026 will be a season for running the ball and spamming the shorter passing game with an occasional shot when the defense creeps up too much.

Make it easier on Mendoza's development in 2026, and worry about trying to compete in 2027

It’s true that Pickens is a pain in the ass, I was more thinking about what he’d bring as a player.

Fair point to only want to bring in good culture guys, nice to have top talent but the worst thing that could happen right now is another AB situation. Need to put that crap behind us, that alone could be enough reason not to get Pickens.

Like I said, more of a daydream — even if Pickens was a good team guy, it’s irresponsible to try to get a Ferrari when we’re behind on the mortgage payments. He’ll cost a big contract and I imagine the cowboys will probably try to get draft capital in return for him via tag & trade.

Linderbaum is my dream FA, if we’re gonna spend money that’s the kind of player that could make a difference in all phases of the offensive game

Linderbaum is my #1 target too. I'll be happy with resetting the market for centers. I've heard $18 million mentioned.... I'd go significantly above that.

Id go like 4 years 100 million for lindenbaun

I like that choice a lot...tough runner always gets yards!!!!

I mentioned Pickens last week and was dogpiled lol. Clearly not popular among Raider fans, but I do agree with you. I saw some folks suggest Alec Pierce as a good pickup which blows my mind. Dude is good for 40 catches a year and might get around $20 mill per. Pickens is an elite talent. I don't think we need to get him, but he's probably the only veteran WR worth pursuing right now. The other guys available kind of suck lol. I think I've settled on fix the run game this year, and make a strong push for Olave next year, who I'm very high on.

Linderbaum would be the single biggest improvement on the line and also the single biggest support we can give Mendoza to be successful player wise.

And if not Linderbaum we better have some high quality options in mind.

Why would Pierce blow your mind? Especially in year one of a rookie QB? He’s everything you’d want in a WR, let alone in Kubiak’s system.

Not a diva, great hands/rare drops, disciplened route running, blocks well and will actually do it.

Note: I’m not saying we will or should get him but I don’t see any downsides to him compared to a prima Donna like Pickens who the team does not need with tha baggage.
