John Facenda was an all timer. I loved Bill King as well. Some of my favorites:

"And Rod Martin slams the door on the man they call Jaws!"

"When Herman Edwards gambled, he came up snake eyes!"

....and what was the other with theismannn, and I know i'm butchering this, but to the effect of,. ''they reduced him to a bumbling Clark Kent who lost yards just trying to make up his mind....'

Dream scenario would be to trade back, get a late first and another second. Would love draft Lee Hunter at DT, Josh Rodriguez at LB and Gennings Dunker at OG. These dudes feel like lunch pail type guys which is what we need going forward.

If they stay at 14 Dillon Thieneman would be my choice. We badly need a play maker in the secondary.

On a side note, not an expert, just a fan.

You're close:

"During the regular season the Redskins had scored more points than any team in history. But the Raiders crushed Washington's Offense and reduced the NFL's All-Pro quarterback to a hesitant passer who lost yardage making up his mind."

That would be a hell of a draft if we walked away with that haul.

....yes, excellent lines, and i'll bet I could have come closer had I not just lazily threw it out there, as that one was always one I really appreciated when it came to the sabol / facenda years

...so, we have our center, does that change any thoughts here on what direction we may go?

Personally i prefer a tackle over a guard at 14.

I"m curious if Fano and Mauigoa are realistic options now at 14. We'd have our center and two tackle spots solved. One guard spot (JPJ) likely solved and grab a guard later.

That could be the way to go. Or Lemon

Ioane and Fano could both be available at 14. I say stick to the plan and finish the Oline

It does. I’m not a fan of Guards that high. Unless he’s Nelson when he came out of ND. Everywhere cannot be PREMIUM picks along the line. Guard is the easiest position to fill. Maybe next year

Also we need to see why we have in Rogers and Grant too.

....yeah, where I was receptive to guard at that pic, if going o line, and the o tackle is there that they like, unless they really like a d force, whether it be an end or super duper lb type.
....I know d tackles are supposed to be loaded later....

Loane is considered a blue chip can't miss guard who could go earlier than 14. If he's there you draft him and make him the left guard for the next 10 years. Must protect Mendoza's blind side.

I was impressed with Rogers and I think Spytek mentioned hes been at the facilities all offseason training. I see RT as our biggest need on the line right now.

Not opposed to grabbing a guard especially in mid rounds but I could see Rogers and JPJ being solid at the guard spots.
