The 49ers sure looked bad vs. the Broncos, and they are supposed to be much better than their poor showing last season. For us, the offensive line seems to be rising to the top of concerns.

Isn’t a headline. The opposite is. It boils down to 1) the opponent, and 2) the Raiders record. I can tell you with certainty that the home opener against the Chargers will be a pro-Raiders crowd. The Titans and Jaguars will be 80/20, if not more.

The Bears, Cowboys, and Chiefs will be a different story. Cowboys in particular based on the way ticket prices are shaping up.

The truth always lies somewhere in the middle. Vegas will never be Oakland as far as homogenous home crowds. And yet, even with that home crowd advantage, the Raiders had a bottom 3 home winning record in the entire league for 2 decade span.

As others have mentioned - winning would help. But the big fanbases are always going to show up here in Vegas. Best we can do is hope that the people who are always the most upset about it decide to show up to a home game or two throughout the season and be part of the change they want to see. It would make a difference.

Yeah I'm not sure how much a home crowd matters with w's and l's, it can affect some plays.

You could be right. However, I doubt we’d be able to get a starting caliber DB in a trade.

Teams aren't trading starters at this point unless you are giving up a starter as well and they have a near equal quality replacement inthe wings. Trading a backup TE, expect a backup S. Is that better? It's marginally possible, but who's doing the deal?
We just did something with backup CB for backup DT, while they may become a starter it isn't a given.

None of our current QB's are taking this team to the promised land, so it's really a Mute point to argue about it...this year will be like many others disappointing in the end!

You need something worthy and it takes two.
What team has a lot of great depth at S? That's who's tango'ing.
But I don't know a starting S today had a pick today.
The starters are barely playing and even less playing all together.

Very possible, but being a new back 7 and as a fair person myself I will give it time which they'll have 17 games, that's plenty of time to know if there's anything there worthy. We're married to this roster for 2025. How well will the D gel as the season goes on? Pete and PG will need to figure it out, it's not new to either and we've seen some Raiders D's over the past handful or so, improve quite a bit during the season. Most likely some will pan out well and then on to 2026.

I believe you! And agree - it would be very tough to replicate on a consistent basis. The only variable that has yet to be determined is if a true, winning team would have a great enough effect to change that here. Hopefully we get to find out sooner rather than later, ha.

Raiders are married to most...not all. Trade deadline is 11-4. Raiders are looking toward the future...there are teams looking to win a SB who could use a missing piece. Be it a draft pick or a player ....the process of building for the future never ends.

If we were to turn this into the old Raider teams, fans of other teams aren't going to want to show up to see there team get kicked in the teeth. Yes, because LV is a destination you will still wind up with other teams fans more so than other teams but it will be significantly less. Few people come to LV and win in the casinos so coming in and watching your team lose and then drop a whole bunch of money at the tables adds insult in injury. Add in the exorbitant hotel prices, shows, food, drinks right on down the line and that becomes a much more expensive trip than flying into KC. They will certainly think twice about coming next time.
