I hope you're right, but groovin' to the Backstreet Boys ain't the same as taking on 600+ pounds of O-linemen in front of you. OTOH, has has been pointed out, his injury did occur while celebrating on the field, so maybe boy bands shouldn't be his jam.

What I'm saying is its great to see him out of his boot and dancing around while training ..but Im hoping that foots not made of glass at the moment.If he hurts his foot again I'll never listen to Back Street Boys again!

The dead money hit next year would all be proration of money already paid this year. If he's not worth the cash salary next year..... they'll cut him and deal with the dead money if they don't see enough to be convinced to pay him another $25 million in cash. There's no reason to spend an extra $25 million in cash just to defer some dead money, especially a team with the cap flexibility that the Raiders have.

If he gets healthy and stays healthy this year, then he likely justifies that salary. He's an impact player if he's healthy.

I think he was top 3 or 4 in snaps played the year before we signed him and the spectre of two non-stop engines on the D line was an all too brief luxury. His returning to form would probably be the biggest gift this defense could receive.

That and if Wilson can ever figure it out. I don’t think it will ever happen but you never know.

Hopefully that video means hes on the pup list for precautionary reasons only.

Unless he goes on the Reserve/PUP list, this is a nothing burger. Putting him on the PUP list was not only expected, but is prudent as well.
