Pay what he wants we got plenty of cap space and it’s not my money. He is everything you want a player to be and he had almost 100 yards today in a game. A lot of people in his position wouldn’t have even been playing in.

It's pretty simple! QB throws to him he catches it. Had a good game today. Has had many good games for the Raiders. Much rather have him out there than Amari Cooper. The WR core would be nowhere near as good without him.

I can't say to pay him what he wants, because I don't know what he wants. It could be that Rosenhaus is looking for $30 million per, and I'd understand the Raiders balking at that. I do think that if they can't come to an agreement on an extension then you add a few million in salary this year and a bunch of incentives - to recognize that he's underpaid.

Exactly. It's hard to take a side on this because none of us know what he is asking. If he is asking for top WR money...hell no. If he want a reasonable amount ....give the man his money.chucker wrote: Sun Sep 07, 2025 5:02 pm I can't say to pay him what he wants, because I don't know what he wants. Either way it's good to see him take the high road and not turn it into a pissing match in the media. He has shown up and put in the work. It should help him in the long run whether he stays here or not

I like Jakobi, he's a solid player and a good dude. If his number looks like 22-23 mill and a couple years guaranteed I wouldn't blink.

I always said it's about the number. I initially felt 20 would be good for him but the way he's handled himself and performed might just be worth giving him the 23 Sutton is getting. This is all assuming that's even what he wants. Is it damage control or acknowledging Jakobi's accomplishments and how he is dealing with the contract situation?

Now I’m very curious what the hold up is. Given the wild WR market, may as well give him 3 years or extend him 2 with 20-25 per. I don’t think he deserves top 10 but no issue with 11-20 range.

I am going to volunteer to go to the facility pick up a suitcase from Mark and hand deliver it to Jakobi in his team meeting. He deserves it, he is a great dude. I like his attitude, give him like 2 year extension, LFG!

Gonna change my stance on meyers
Seeing how he played yesterday, pay that man - I don’t know about 30 million though, but he’s keeping bech off the field right now and that says a lot.

At the very least id throw him 3 million extra for the year as keep him happy money. The biggest thing working against an extension is some crazy wr comtracts this offseason. But i ageee seeing him work with Geno and his role in the offense id like to get an extension done.

And that was the last time anybody had heard from RenoRaiders75. Somewhere between Mark’s office and the Raiders locker room…poof…never to be seen again.RenoRaiders75 wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 6:01 am I am going to volunteer to go to the facility pick up a suitcase from Mark and hand deliver it to Jakobi in his team meeting.
