I had Cardinals in a pretty high stakes survival pool when they lost that shocker earlier this year, only 4 guys were left. I’ll never be truly certain anymore until the gun sounds.

The only prospect I can remember that did not declare when he would have been picked at the top of the draft is Matt Leinart. He was still a 1st round pick the following year but I can’t say it worked out all that well for him.

No top QB prospect is going to an already good team. NIL money is good money, but it's not #1 NFL draft pick guaranteed money. If he stays and gets injured or has a bad season, his fall could be hard. At least that's what I'd tell him and his family if I was his agent.
