If hes that good another team will pay him quickly......if not, Raiders could resign him much cheaper as Al often did with players in the old days.

Having said that, Pete C has a culture reputation and that means he churns the roster early and often in the first year or two

Hes an early round pick with some talent on a cheap contract who has been cut twice in four years. Theres obviously some issues.

Dude had some great moments for us, including a pick 6 against KC, so I'm not going to celebrate him leaving. As far as his attitude goes, he's really tight with AP, so maybe he's got some issues staying with the team after he got fired?

I liked Jack Jones, he brought some swagger and made some big time plays, I‘m guessing there is some behind the scenes stuff that had them moving on from him, or maybe he asked to be traded or released.

Bottom line is something within him stopped him from locking in all the time. While he had incredible highs, he just wasn't consistent enough. He was Mr Business Decisions which we know what that means and that won't fly with Pete's take on D. It sucks because he could easily have been a very good CB.

This reinforces to me that we're taking Hunter or Johnson if either is available at #6.

I don’t fault a player for being too aggressive trying to get us back into games. Now if he played reckless when we had the lead that’s a different story. Pretty sure he was the best CB on our team at the moment (not counting Stokes as I haven’t seen him much).

Our CBs absolutely sucked so its not saying much. Im fine remaking the position grouping and ideally either Bennett or Richardson becone good .
