Good info, thanks!
Sorry that was DeForest Buckner.
Kwity had a groin and
missed little time.

Was a pretty good player until last year.

He wasn't very good last season from what I'm reading but was showing consistent improvement prior to that and had a nice 2024 season. He's still young so hopefully he is at least back to 2024 levels.

Nice signing...now, how long before someone says we're spending our cash to fast?
If you don't move fast we may miss out on some of the better FAs, and the longer we wait, all that will be left will be players holding out for a huge payday or players that don't fit our needs.

What I think we have to do for 2026 is have a ton of guys to rotate in on the dline and make peace with it. We’re not going to be able to replace Mac in one year.
Sure you never know I just don’t think it will be likely.

Better against the run than the pass, but that won’t be an issue since he'll be playing DE in our new 3-4 D

In past years, people here would complain that we were sitting out Free Agency for too long and should get to signing people. Not this year....

EDGE Kwity Paye signs with Las Vegas Raiders
2025 PFF Grade: 59.0
2025 PFF WAR: -0.07
Contract: 3 years, $48 million
PFF Projected Contract: 2 years, $20 million
PFF Deal Grade: Below Average
At 27 years old, Paye still has time to develop, but he is coming off a season that saw him produce career lows in PFF overall grade and sacks. While he has earned a 65.0-plus PFF run-defense grade in four straight seasons, $16 million per year for an edge defender who doesn't offer much consistently as a pass rusher is a bit strong.

He’s been a 4-3 DE so I’d expect him to be a 3-4 OLB.

Another one that had a down year. He had a 74 grade in 2024 and pff talked him up a lot.

I was somewhat hoping/thinking Mafe but my intuition told my Paye. I got busy and sure enough that's what happened. I like Mafe for the Bengals. Because, f[raiders_icon]ck the Ravens next year. The Bengals also got S Bryan Cook away from KC

Solid player, was interested in him when he was drafted
Same, I remember watching some show on his life story or something at the time.

9 million cap hit year one. 19 million year two. Can cut after two years with only 3 mil dead money

That will be a question for training camp
I find him a bit light for a 34 DE, and a bit heavy for a 34 OLB (and he never was within the top tiers sack artist)
