McCoy has HC experience so it makes sense to have seasoned voice in there to help Kubiak with a lot of the planning and adm details around the position.

I really hope we didn’t over estimate the Coordinators willing to leave Seattle.

Wasn’t McCoy the OC at Denver when Kubiak was an offensive assistant? They have a history

They spent 2017 together before McCoy moved on in ‘18.

Unless Seattle lets then go we can only actually hire one of them to be OC.

We can hire the QB or OL to our OC

We can hire Karl Scott(DB coach) to our DC

I think I’d be ok with both.

Benton and Scott would be my picks.

Luckily Mike McCoy will only be getting Gatorade and water for Kubiak. Very uninspiring hire.

You can be experienced and still be garbage. I see it in my line of work everyday.

Just want the HC to assemble his own staff and if the chemistry and vision are shared then I’m all in.

Assistant anything hires are meh as far as great hire or bad hire. We have no idea what his duty capacity is, or anybody who is an assistant. Dude has head coaching experience and they likely share a same vision. They probably get along. They probably are able to check each other on differences. Kubiak seems like a straight forward, honest dude who doesn't get jammed up over someone giving another perspective. None of us know the details

Some Raider fans would get pissed if they found out the assistant water boy doesn't know how to identity a zone blitz. What the f[raiders_icon]ck? Why that hire! They could have done better!

And what makes him garbage for this position. This is what happens when you pound the table for coordinators to be first time HCs. They bring in people who have experience and who they gel with.
