The Bears gave the Raiders every chance to win that game, and they couldn't find a way. If Geno starts, which I imagine he will, their is a less than 1% chance Raiders win.

It’s a 30+ year nightmare that none of us get to wake up from. It’s amazing we haven’t gone insane. The nearest any of us came to breaking with murderous intent was during the shithead Carr years. Raider Nation doesn’t deserve this f[raiders_icon]cking Hell.pfish57 wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 5:05 am I thought I would wake up & it was just another Raiders Nightmare...I was Wrong!

I heard today that Geno has thrown more interceptions than the number of times the Colts have punted.
Sad to learn that’s a true statistic. Going to take big turn around to beat them in Indy.

Watching film, every defense is taking a page out of the Chargers playbook and running disguise Tampa 2. It's destroying Geno.
He's making the right read, but he doesn't have the throw velocity nor the anticipation to hit the receiver in a tight window anymore. He also can't throw a deep ball unless it's wide open.
I believe, the main problem is, Brock Bowers.
Bowers usually runs the vertical (seam) route, that takes the safety away. Brock Bowers is an all-pro, so the safety has to respect it, even if he's a decoy. Without Bowers being 100%, Thornton is running the decoy route, which makes it easy for the defense to ignore and play the underneath routes.
Defenses are daring him to throw the deep ball, and it's working. Geno doesn't seem to trust Thornton after week 2, and Meyers can't get the separation. Contrary to popular belief, Meyers is NOT a #1 WR, he's at his best when defenses sleep on him. Whenever he's the focus, he gets clamped. We need to get Tre Tucker more targets until Bowers is 100%. Also, we've underrated how effective Micheal Mayer was as a safety valve for Geno.
Injuries are killing us on offense.

Give him some credit. He's also leading the league in interceptions!DrDUne wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 6:23 pm I heard today that Geno has thrown more interceptions than the number of times the Colts have punted.

This week will be epic in the JPJ vs Alex Crappa battle for playing time...
Indy lost. They are at home. Chances aren't good at winning...

I have stated before I expected the Raiders to begin rough for the first half of the season and my wish is that by the last 1/3rd of the season I see and believe in progress and momentum.
I thought we’d beat the bears so that hurt a bit. I think Indy wins this week and it may not be close. Ouch

We will probably lose this week, win Tenn, and then have some epic showing in a win vs KC to get everyone pumped for two weeks over the bye to then comeback and get curb stomped by the Jags. That seems about right.

I think you’ve had the right read on the situation with the new regime from the beginning. Four games into their reign and nobody is happy, but the good news is that we’re four games in.Xramfan wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 9:56 pm I have stated before I expected the Raiders to begin rough for the first half of the season and my wish is that by the last 1/3rd of the season I see and believe in progress and momentum.

Every game that the Raiders play give the offensive line another week to get it together and it slowly improving….
I don’t know what the raiders will do against the Colts; but it will be a closer game than it was with Washington and Chargers….
We are getting better but gotta remember; we are starting at rock bottom;

I expect 1-7 going into the (good) bye (2025 season) week.LayneStaley wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 10:01 pm We will probably lose this week, win Tenn, and then have some epic showing in a win vs KC to get everyone pumped for two weeks over the bye to then comeback and get curb stomped by the Jags.
