As bad as last night was. The Raiders have to move on and do it quickly on a short week.

Even worst it’s an early start in the east coast against a team that had their minimum bye week. So they will be rested and had plenty of time to game plan for us.

This is an early big test.

Unlike his father, Mark has made a real effort to get along with the other owners. And there's no way we would've gotten our own stadium in LA without the NFL's support. Nothing wrong with Vegas that winning won't cure.

Honestly, it's not like the Carolina opener last season getting shellacked by a bottom feeder and lookin totally inept on both sides of the ball. The defense played well enough to win and the offense moved the ball at times, just failed to score in the red zone. I think with a healthy Bowers and JPJ it's a tighter contest last night. Chargers are a top ten team and if they beat the Donks next week, which I fully expect them to do, they'll have an early grip on the division.

So Raiders can do one of two things, they can tuck tale and implode..or man up and play tough in the these next two winnable games and finish September strong at 3-1. Mariota at QB would make a difference and hopefully JPJ is back at guard and Bowers is a bit stronger. Also, stop with the RB at committee bs, feed Jeanty the rock until it burns in his hand like a hot potato- Need to establish an identity

I really don't see a Pete Carrol led team imploding after a tough loss..He'll pick them up off the ground and have them ready for Washington

Good points but the Queefs are still better than us. I do think Denver is overrated. Nix ain’t much better than Geno, if at all

Chiefs have a better QB. We have a better team.

I agree, Denver is vastly overrated. I think they're the worst team in the division. Ultimately, I believe we will split our division and have a chance at the final wildcard spot.

If the o-line can't figure out that they're not playing college ball we're kinda screwed. Chip is going to have to call plays that move the pocket every now and then also.

nobody is overrated two games into a season....nobody.

And Denver may be better than us, we will not know until we play them

Wife is a die hard Redskin fan. It's going to be a house divided. I'll probably end up watching it in my garage and pace around my driveway like a lunatic. Neighbors are used to it by now.

Without AD the NFL today would be comnpletely different.

It is because of AD the NFL has thrived.

Tier 2: Playoff Teams

While these teams might not be true contenders, they’re almost certain to make the playoffs. And who knows, once they get there, they could make some noise.

10 — Washington Commanders (1-1, —)

Last week: L 18-27 vs. Green Bay Packers

The Commanders were largely noncompetitive against the Packers in a game that showed they still have a ways to go to be among the NFC’s elite. But the story coming out of this one is the number of serious injuries Washington suffered. It was a costly defeat, with RB Austin Ekeler and ED Deatrich Wise Jr. being lost for the season. More importantly, QB Jayden Daniels might miss a few weeks with a knee injury, which is a nightmare for the Commanders. The only silver lining here is that Daniels shouldn’t be out long-term, though he could miss a few weeks.


Tier 3: In The Mix

Not all of these teams will make it to the playoffs of course, but they are at least making it a conversation.


20 — Las Vegas Raiders (1-1, UP 4)

Last week: L 9-20 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

This was a winnable game for the Raiders. I’ve been impressed by their defense through two games, a unit I expected would struggle this year. But Raiders QB Geno Smith had a tough game, throwing three interceptions and finding himself under constant duress all night long. Las Vegas needs to find a way to get rookie first-round RB Ashton Jeanty more involved, as he had a few nice runs but isn’t yet fully integrated into the game plan.

We are the worst team in the division & it’s not a bad thing for once as the other three are all decent teams

What’s all this bullshit about easing Jeanty into the NFL? Give him the ball 20-25 times a game. We are one dimensional right now and that doesn’t work with a 80% Brock and Jakobi as WR1. I’m a bit confused with all the existing cap space that we couldn’t have signed a mauler for inside. Wasn’t Bechton pretty cheap?
