But wouldn't Kate Scott for play-by-play, with Michael Robinson and Michael Bennett be the NFL Network announcers? KTLA should have The Raiders announcers. Maybe it will be the radio group.

Yeah you are right about that; problem is that it really hard to get into preseason game when you know that maybe half of players on the field won’t be with the team in regular season…

I do remember that, and the season was just 14 games. They used all of those game to get in shape but more importantly to evaluate all the players they had who were trying to make the team. It is my guess that that has been replaced by all the mini-camps and OTAs they have now. When late July comes, they have already had a chance to work with players and to see what they can do or not do. Finally, there is a philosophy of not wanted to get injured in a non-league game. In the old days, salaries (even accounting for inflation) were nothing like today as this business has grown immensely. A guy making $8 million a year for playing linebacker would be pissed off if he tore his ACL in a "meaningless" exhibition game.

It's still a tad frustrating to see in Week 1 and Week 2, players who are winded and making mistakes and then hear the announcers say, "well. it's only week 1. Might as well just get rid of all the preseason games.

What’s nice about tonight’s game is most of us should be able to watch it.

The only one I probably won't be able to see is their home game in Preseason Week 2. The NFL still treats Southern California as The Raiders home market even though it's well over the 100 mile radius thing.

NFL Network for most of us. The Raiders and Seahawks will have their own broadcasts for their markets,

Starting to get excited to watch the 1st preseason game.

Have not felt this way in a loooooong f[raiders_icon]cking time. Going to be great to see our Colors flying around.

To me it depends on how the 1st series goes. 3 and out...bring em back out. Put 2gether a nice long drive..call it good.
