It tells us he made a player personnel decision for the team based on his in-depth knowledge of the position.
But i was told that Darnold was the guy & Brady knew what he was talking about by the forum braintrust

I think Geno is likely the better QB by a clear margin, especially when things get hectic. We'll see if the season proves that.
Did not age well.
But hear me out on this one. Let's say we did get Darnold. Carroll would have further ruined him and Seattle likely does not go to the dance. So, here is what happens:
Darnold signs with us for that same basic deal of 3 years at around 33M per
Geno stays with Seattle and they finish as no more than the wildcard
We still end up firing Carroll but Kubiak's not on the radar because the team does not have the offensive output that makes anyone excited
We don't pull the deal for the top prize in free agency and Darold makes us just good enough for around 10 in the draft. We do not trade Crosby still and Mendoza goes to the Jets
We end up with some second rate coach, a QB who is not getting protected, some also ran draft picks and everyone is bitching (oh wait) and we are just good enough to tread water but not good enough to make a run.
Everyone loses if Darnold does not go to Seattle. Mendoza goes to the Jets who surely ruin him. Kubiak gets another year being a second tier coordinator, we end up with some second rate coach in the vein of Richie Kotite (In the vein, not Richie himself, he is retired or dead, not worth looking up) free agency is a nightmare and Darnold does not get his ring. The world does in fact revolve around Darnold going to Seattle. Darnold may be the most important not get in the history of the Raiders.
How is that for some spectacular conspiracy theory shit.
Oh and chucker's take is epically bad.
And yes, I am bored.

all the dominoes lined up neatly and then fell in a row for the raiders to grab fernando and kubiak ...winning finally

Good. Not super pumped about Geno but would much rather have him under center than Darnold
What an idiot!
In my defense, no qb would've looked competent under last years staff. Darnold already led the league in turnovers, he just had a defense to cover fir him. Those turnovers would've been magnified here

Darnold gets us another 3 to 4 wins(maybe) and we still need a QB.

It worked out much better for us in the long term. Mendoza is a better, younger and cheaper Qb. Even though he hasn’t taken a snap in the league yet, I feel comfortable saying that, plus I believe Darnold is coming back to earth soon.

Of course he did. They tanked better with Geno.
Add no protection and the most complicated offense and wallah.
Mendoza
I mean they could've hired a OC last year who didn't know what he was doing, but then he and Geno would've had something in common. Cant have that.

So Brady possibly jumped in & said don’t sign Darnold
Yet he didn’t jump in & say don’t trade for Geno
What does that tell us
And yet Geno begot us Mendoza (and Pete did his part as well)
Thank you, Tom! Perfect moves.

Brady became a cheater long ago so tanking isn't beyond him.
And im all for it see rule 1.

Yup. Trying to imagine Darnold behind Carrol's o-line....... and it would just be a disaster waiting to happen. I think in hindsight our problem wasn't the QB we chose, but out entire coaching staff.
I really thought Pete would be at minimal competent. I was so wrong.

I will always have a soft spot for the Giants. Beating Dallas was a God send.

His shittiness got us to that point though, credit for sucking where credit due.

Darnold would have done no better than Geno if he was our QB last year.
