He's a beast and the Raiders are going to have a great TE duo for years to come!

We all wanted a QB but no good QB are remaining so we got very talented TE. I really like this pick, he is good at blocking, and catching who is George Kittle. I have confidence in your GM.

Bowers is a legit animal on the field and a scoring machine. No BS, his hands and body control give shades of Davante imo.
Raiders Reddit losing it lol. Fans want BPA until it happens. He’s gonna be a pro bowler in a couple years.
 No he isn't. Not with guys like Puka in the league.

Bowers arguably isn't even better than Mayer.
Let’s consider it positively (tough I know with the mobile QB crowd melting down):

WR Adams
WR2 Meyers
TE1 Bowers
TE2 Mayer
RB Zeus

On paper this means we’re not in as bad of a position on Offense as people might believe.

Minshew is not a horrible QB and stranger things with us and QBs. I’m of the mindset we need to invest in QB nearly every draft and this isn’t over so maybe Rattler? If we end up with AOC4, Minshew and Rattler, there is potential there.

I also suspect the move up to get a QB was either way too high of a asking price or no one wanted to move.
This guy can't block unless he is a two tight end set. Tucker might be left out in the cold.

What do you do with Mayer?

6M in dead. Trade? Run 2 TE sets?

TT said this team needed "juice".

Going to be interesting the next moves.
Dude is a monster. This feels like the type of pick that we normally pass on, only for the next team to snag and end up burning us for 10 years. (Megatron, Rodgers, etc...)
This, we normally skip on him and go for a need that busts because it’s a reach, Bowers then becomes an all-pro

I like the player but it's an odd pick considering his position. Let's hope we can add some value with our other picks

Dude has a chance to be our Gates or Kelce. He is a playmaker and we need playmakers.

You can play two TE believe it or not and the two we have are very different. Bowers in the Kelce mode and Mayer is more of a blocker and possession type guy. I think theyll be a great duo. We still need a lot of OL help, a CB and a RB though

I'm all in on the Gardner at this point......

They want to take a swing at Pratt, or Reed .....I'm down with it......

Couple under the radar QB's not getting the hype, but had great numbers nonetheless.

This team has Mayer & didn't they sign a TE this off-season already?

This pick means Telesco is just going BPA all the way.
