Page was innovative and had a good sound. Bonham was really good and a talented player. John Paul Jones was also very talented, the only one of the guys who was considered a "session musician." Although Page also did session work he was far more suited to working as a traveling musician. I view Plant's voice like I view Geddy's. It is an acquired taste and I never acquired it. I get that they were a new sound and I also enjoy the instrumental aspect of Zeppelin, but Plant was my weak link for them. Funny thing is, I liked his voice far better as a Honeydripper but found their sound to be boring.

Go figure

I love Zeppelin and Rush..... but I didn't always love them. And it doesn't bother me a bit that some people don't care for them. Music should be a personal thing. Even Nickelback has fans.

To say Zep is overrated is just mind-boggling SMH  Although I could give a shit less about Rush lol

True, up north, Rush is widely popular and their recently announced shows will sell out 100%. Rush is also a very male centric band. Zeppelin was also that way. So you go to see them you are looking at a lot of sausage.

It's been a loooong time since a game has had soooo much meaning.....

Me thinks this forum will erupt after the Raiders win....
We’re gonna win the last two games and totally mess up our draft.

Should be sitting many starters and playing the rookies. Cam Miller time. But coach won’t do that. Would Mr Davis step in and insist?

Our starters can lose perfectly fine

Well, not an overrated band for sure. Impacted a lot of future rock and each is a legend on their own. I think musical taste is more of the issue. I love a lot of band that were inspired by Zeppelin. I am just not a fan of Plant's voice. His writing is good and musically they were about as good as it gets. But we don't have Heart without Zeppelin. We don't have a lot of grunge bands. Sabbath sounds different without Zeppelin. So their place in rock history is very secure simply because they invented the sound.

I'm a big Rush fan.... up to 2112. After that.... They lost their grit... IMO. I like my rock on the more raw/gritty/un-polished sounding side.

Uh oh! The mighty Zeppelin is my all time favorite band. There has never been and never will be another band like them... IMO. The stars aligned when the four of them joined together to form Zeppelin. It is a band that could have never been without any one of them. Few bands, if any have ever matched them, again... IMO.

I understand those of you that don't like the high voice registers of Plant and the like.

I agree. I'm not sure if it's possible to listen to any band not hear their influence. Usually if a band is really good in specific sub genre of rock or metal I'll often say they are "the Led Zeppelin of......"

We have a true #1 WR to space the floor for Jeanty and also draw attention away from Brock Bowers. It also helps the OL when you have a receiver consistently getting open for a QB to throw to. Drafting Tyson does 10x more for our offense then getting OL, contrary to popular belief.

Olaivavega Ioane would be my pick if we traded down or traded up into the late 1st. Move JPJ to center, have Vega play RG and Laki Tasi at LG. Parnham, Putnam, Mafi, and Cappa as depth. I think Glaze is fine at RT and Drafting Spencer Fano to play RT instead wouldn't improve our team much, if at all. 3 pro bowl talents in the interior to assist in making Jeanty a top 3 RB next year.
No way a receiver, no matter how good, is 10x more valuable than a monster O line. Period, end of discussion.
Maybe next year ask Santa for common sense.

Music is a personal thing. Everyone thinks the music they listen to is the best. Doesn't matter because,

If we win these last two games everybody's music will suck.
