2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)

Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

If the guy they really want, if there is a guy they’re targeting there, doesn’t go at 3.1 or 3.2 then there’s no difference in the pick.
Maybe.
Another thought is they don't sit on three 4ths. We'll see.

Feels like there’s a bigger drop off at DT than WR. I’d say the same at CB, but only cause McCoy and Terrell have fallen.
So for me, McDonald, Miller. Then one of the 2 CBs I mentioned. At WR, I like guys like Hurst and Caldwell and even Sarratt (because of Mendoza) in the 3rd to 4th.

It's interesting you brought this up as I was suggesting this last year but they didn't do it.
If you can give up one of the 4th's we have and move up into the 3rd say around pick 23, you will be drafting in front of the better teams in the league.
Jaguars twice
Bears
49ers
Texans
Cowboys
Rams
Patriots
Seahawks
Eagles
Steelers
As well as the Vikings and Dolphins.
That would be a leap frog of not just 13 selections, but 11 of them being some very good teams.

Thanks for pointing that out. All those 4ths just aren’t sitting well with me I guess as part of it.
As for our 2nd. I was wondering if we were going into the back end of the 1st. It was open that the Bills were shopping their pick and they did.
I’m expecting a number of trades in from of us in the 2nd.
From what it looks like we’re staying put in the 2nd and maybe that is going to hurt more than the 3rd and 4th rounds.

I feel like one of those 4ths will be sacrificed to boost us in the 2nd or 3rd. There’s also a few WR/CB/S in the 4th that could be nice gets.

I will say it again, it is rare to see teams draft 10 players, not unheard of but rare. We will be movers on day 2 or 3 I believe.

It seems like a lot of picks..... but the average number of picks is 8 because of at least 32 comp picks so 10 isn't crazy for a team that finished last in the league and needs starters and depth. With 10 picks you can do some throwaways, like drafting a kicker and not really worrying about it if he doesn't beat out the vet. The Seahawks drafted 11 last year and 10 are still in Seattle.

no it is not crazy, but it is also rare that a team would draft 11 guys and 10 would stick. And that is on a champion level team. I think it would be far more likely for a team that is bad. I see that as an exception and not the rule. I might be wrong, but that seems more likely to me.

i agree, the talent at dt/nt and cb fall off of a cliff, wr is very deep and even in the 3rd rd we can grab a good one, oline we can address in the 4th rd along with backup rb

Same here. I wouldn't mind &, actually would prefer to trade back into the back half of the 2nd to take, FS Stukes/Haulcy, WR Bell/Bernard, LB Jacob Rodriguez (absolutely love him), after taking McPounder or C. Miller at 36. That would be a dream start to the draft for me.

Me either. That’s why I was saying to trade back into the back half of round 2 for them. If any fall in that range
