Raiders Reserve/Future Signings

“The Raiders announced they have sighed Chris Collier RB, McClendon Curtis G, Jamin Davis LB, Phillip Dorsett II WR, Treven Ma'ae DT, Joshua Miles T, Albert Okwuegbunam Jr. TE, Brenden Rice WR, Layden Robinson G, Justin Shorter WR, Laki Tasi OL, and Dalton Wagner T to reserve/futures deals.

The most notable player from that list is offensive lineman Laki Tasi. The Raiders are big on him as he is learning the game of football. Tasi is from the International Player Pathway Program. He is developing and could be a huge factor for the Silver and Black in the future. The other one is linebacker Jamin Davis. Davis is a former first-round pick by the Commanders in 2021.”

It’s not going to happen prior to this draft as there are several young DEs that are difference makers. The highest value would be mid-season to a team thats trying to make a run.

Sign Linderbaum and Rasheed Walker(RT). That alone would solve the Oline issue.

Easier said than done. It would be nice. I don't see any way Linderbaum leaves Baltimore but we have to at least try

But he was available and we screwed the pooch.trade downs are cool and all,but don’t be the belichek pats(post Brady) and keep trading down and miss out on studs

I get what you are saying from that view point but the reality is we can't control what the GM does, thinks or information that comes to them. I can see if you're arguing from the view point of pick #37 and not trading down at all.
Yet, let me ask you this...do you see Burton as a true #1 WR and do you think PC was gonna use him as such?

Burden can be a number one..most definitely. But no,in hindsight Pete would have wasted him,but he sure would be nice to have for Mendoza and Kubiak. I didn’t think he’d last to the second and when he was there I was pumped,but then the trade down.Bech could be a fine player,but the upside Burden gives you isn’t worth a drop down 20 spots or whatever it was.

Yeah, I see where you are going. I'm not 100% sure but I hear what you're saying. It was 2 trade downs to add more depth, which I do tend to agree with. Hell, I wanted CB Will Johnson from Michigan when we came up there. I also liked Tre Harris for WR. Burdon is a good player and I'd rather have him than Bech but I kinda see them as the same type players and neither a #1.

I’m sure Klint had a lot of input on Seattle trading for him. I think he would fit in good with the WRs we have and would really help our return game.

I will take this guy at his contract number all day over Alec Pierce. I'm glad he's available as I think he'll be a target for us, and take us out of the running from some of these other overpriced vets.

Does anyone feel like Spytek might trade Crosby this draft? This seems like the next move, getting as many assets to use and put around Fernando.

Las Vegas Raiders

In a presumed one-quarterback draft, the Raiders hold all the power with the first overall pick. That alone is enough to put them on this list, but when paired with the second-most cap space available in the NFL, it becomes the cherry on top. Las Vegas is still searching for its next head coach, but if this offseason is navigated correctly, the future looks promising.

The Raiders enter the 2026 offseason with $81.3 million in available cap space to supplement a roster that is young but already features several promising building blocks. Assuming Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza is the selection at No. 1 overall, he would step into an offense headlined by budding superstar tight end Brock Bowers and 2025 sixth overall pick running back Ashton Jeanty.

Las Vegas still has clear roster weaknesses, but with ample cap space, the Raiders should be able to add protection for Mendoza and additional receiving talent through free agency, accelerating the rebuild around their presumed franchise quarterback.

What’s nice is that Spytek may have thoughts about it, but will wait until he discusses with Kubiak and Coach Kube’s choice for DC.

We seem to FINALLY have a non-Doofus, non-Dallas-Cleveland-Jets way of conducting business as a professional football team. Just like how the successful franchises in the NFL are run.

Trading Maxx has been the right call for a year now. Hopefully Kubiak is as smart as we all think he is and agrees.

I hope it's being considered. I think this year is the last off ramp for Maxx. After 2026 his value will decline significantly, especially if he can't stay healthy for the 3rd year in a row.
