Maybe we get the benefit of a few extra flags against KC next week to kill “ the league wants KC to win” narrative.

Actually, you are wrong. He has to be medically cleared according to the CBA. You really don't understand football at all. A prognosis does not mean that he is not examined again, that is why it is a prognosis. Subsequent to a prognosis is a diagnosis and that is when he was cleared.
Again for the cheap seats, he cannot play unless he is medically cleared per the CBA, and that portion has nothing to do with Carroll.

He wasn't cleared. You are arguing a technicality and playing with words.
Brock Bowers nor Pete Caroll were told by any doctors that Bowers was 100% healthy to play. That never happened. Trying to use the word "cleared" to insinuate that is wrong.
Any injury in which the diagnosis is less than a certain amount, the player can theoretically play injured, based on the discretion of the staff.
Pete Carroll then opted to have him play. A decision that Brock Bowers obviously disagreed with.
He never reaggravated his injury, he is still battling the original injury.
Just because a player can play through injury, doesn't mean the coaching staff has to allow him to.

Who said anything about being 100%. And the word "cleared" to play is the actual wording that the CBA demands that teams use to allow a player back onto the field. And a doctor must sign off on a player before they are allowed back on the field. Jesus, it is like arguing with a 4 year old.
He could not have played without medical sign off. Period. Ergo, he was medically cleared. Just because he was subsequently pulled from the field does not mean point one is not correct. And he will not step back onto the field until he is medically cleared again. And when he is medically cleared again, he will suit up. That is how it works.
And I never said anything about the team allowing him. They put him in. He got injured again, they pulled him out.
This is football, guys play through pain. Guys play through injury. Jack Youngblood played on a broken leg.
Give me a f[raiders_icon]cking break. Medically cleared means just that. It is not a technicality. It is reality.

I give you credit considering who you’re “arguing” with.
This is one was amusing on several levels:
“I have friends who are doctors. That appeal to authority bs doesn't work on me.”
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any crazier, this happens.

With all due respect, the NFL doesn't give a shit about Raider fans. I see us getting curb stomped this game. We have no pass rush except for Maxx and they will gameplan for him. Mahomes will take his second read which is looking for a gap in the defensive line, run through it, extend the play, and either find a receiver or run. That's his M.O. and we just don't have the pass rush to take that away. The defense will be on the field all game and gasses by the 4th quarter.
With all due respect, the NFL doesn’t give a shit about anyone’s fans—they give a shit about ratings and when teams get curb stomped casual fans tune out. Shit, you have die hard Raider fans for decades commenting in the forum every year how they,ve tuned out lately. If the NFL gave a shit we wouldn’t have to pay high prices at the stadium or to subscribe to NFL ticket—they just want fans glued to the TV—and Raiders getting curb stomped does not help them achieve this goal.

I don't give a f[raiders_icon]ck what the CBA says. You are using the word "cleared" to insinuate that Brock Bowers was healthy, when he wasn't. The proof of that is in this quote:
They put him in. He got injured again, they pulled him out.
No, he did not. He never recovered from his first prognosis.
You constantly contradict yourself, then make up points I never stated so you can argue with them. All to make yourself feel like you won a debate.

Who said anything about being 100%.
On one hand you claim you never insinuated that Bowers was healthy enough to play, then on the other hand you do that very thing.
He could not have played without medical sign off. Period. Ergo, he was medically cleared. Just because he was subsequently pulled from the field does not mean point one is not correct.
Actually, it does mean that. If what you claim is true (it isn't), the doctors were wrong.
And he will not step back onto the field until he is medically cleared again. And when he is medically cleared again, he will suit up. That is how it works.
His medical diagnosis had nothing to do with it. Brock Bowers was listed as limited in the injury report the Wednesday leading up to the Colts game. Brock Bowers had a presser following practice, and he stated for the world to hear, that he didn't know why he was playing.
The next day and every day since, Bowers has been resting.
So essentially, you're claiming that the Raiders medical staff saw Brock Bowers' interview, and
completely changing their medical diagnosis?

Do you realize how completely asinine that sounds?

I mean, I know you have your team of groupies who follow you around ball licking everything you state-- even when you're completely wrong-- but anyone with any sense will easily see I'm on the right side of this conversation.
The doctors gave him a two-week timetable for recovery (this was the official report), the coach decided that was good enough for him to play hurt. The coach was wrong.
There is no information out there of any kind that suggests that Bowers RE-injured or RE-aggravated anything.
This is football, guys play through pain. Guys play through injury. Jack Youngblood played on a broken leg.
That's wrong. That doctor should be in prison.

You are a joke. The doctors cleared him. Period
And Jack played on a broken leg. And no, the doctor should not be in prison. Go look it up and you will see why.
Oh wait, you live in an alternative universe where you look back at an issue that has already transpired and make shit up. A prognosis is what might be an issue, a diagnosis is what is the issue. His diagnosis was that he could play. Shit, it is like arguing with a piece of wood
Give up, they did it right medically. It just turned out wrong. No one was predicting that other than the voices inside your f[raiders_icon]cking head

I don't have a dog in this fight other than to say there is tremendous oversight by the NFLPA to ensure that a player is medically cleared before he steps out on the field.
The criteria are simple, either he is medically cleared or not. If so, the coaching staff can activate him, if not they can't.
It is no longer left at the discretion of the team's medical and coaching staff where team considerations and a player's "toughness" may impact those decisions.
The North Dallas Forty days are long gone.
For those interested, I highly recommend this book:

Brock Bowers, "Even when I was out there, it was frustrating for those three weeks, playing h-- out there with a knee brace."

Every time Brock speaks, he lets the media know subliminally that he wasn't happy that he was
encouraged to play hurt.
