Jaden Ivey was waived (effectively released/fired) by the Chicago Bulls on March 30, 2026, for "conduct detrimental to the team".

The Cause: The decision followed a series of videos posted to Ivey's Instagram account in which he criticized the NBA for promoting Pride Month, calling it a celebration of "unrighteousness" and making other anti-LGBTQ+ and religious remarks.
Team Reaction: Bulls coach Billy Donovan stated that the comments did not reflect the organization's values, noting that the team has employees and players from "all different walks of life" and requires a standard of respect and professionalism.
Ivey's Response: Ivey challenged the, "conduct detrimental" characterization, claiming he was being "cut for preaching the gospel" and calling his release a "lie".
After the public and many NBA players complained about Ivey's "release" and caused many fan sites to immediately call for boycotting the NBA, the Bulls, as of early April 2026, fired executives Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley, with head coach Billy Donovan also subsequently stepping down.
So basically an NBA player said forcing the players to endorse pride month bullshit was wrong and he quoted the bible a lot. I praise Ivey for standing up for the majority of people instead of the only 2-3% who keep forcing the LBGTQ+-= and whatever other letters and symbols they've stolen.
Hell two of the top Presidents in U.S.A. history have been moved to a 1 day celebration for both. But these letter people think they deserve a whole month. f[raiders_icon]ck them. Wish they would just shut up and go away. It's bad enough for our country and humanity how they have been allowed to infiltrate our country's school system trying to brainwash and program our children. Letting drag queens into the schools to interact with our children is just plain evil at work. and everyone can see how it has changed are country already looking at today's youth starting with middle school to high school and college.
