Raw Athletic Score. Most our picks are absolute athletic freaks, Spytek definitely has a type, but this guy is an outlier, just an average athlete (as far as safety’s go).raider_kin wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 6:59 pm Forgive me for being a drunken old man but what the hell is RAS?- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post (total 2):

I like that him and Stukes will have that unspoken communicative ability that only comes from playing together.

Dalton Johnson is a versatile defensive back who played five seasons for the Arizona Wildcats (2021–2025)
Positions and Versatility
Known as a "defensive rockstar," Johnson demonstrated extreme versatility in Arizona’s scheme, frequently moving between three roles:
Strong Safety: His primary position where he was a multi-year starter.
"B Kat" Safety: A specific "box safety" role in coordinator Danny Gonzales' scheme that allowed him to play near the line of scrimmage to defend the run.
Hybrid Linebacker: During the 2024 season, he moved into a hybrid role to fill gaps left by team injuries, which helped him lead the team in tackles that year.

Turnover Machine: Tied for the team lead with 4 interceptions and recorded 7 pass breakups and one forced fumble.

CBS has a story today titled, "Each Team's Most Questionable or Draft-Day Reach." For us, he says:
"S Dalton Johnson, Arizona (Round 5, No. 150 overall)
The secondary has been a problem in Las Vegas for years. It is easy to envision a starting cornerback group with Jermod McCoy, Hezekiah Masses and Treydan Stukes. The hope is that Johnson can be an answer at safety, but the value was not where they took him."
I like the pick -- so there.

Someone pointed out former college teammates on the Raiders, the Georgia LBs and now the Arizona safety. One of the UDFA LB teamed up with Dean and Quay at Georgia as well....not sure if it is a Spytek thing or coincidence.
