i want weapons all over the roster even at kicker ...having a weapon as a kicker is a blessing, it mean you can score and only need to move the ball 25 yds (mostly start at the 35 these days) 4 qtr close games the team with the big leg has a huge advantage and changes strategy for the opponent

I want a kicker with a booming leg, but doesn't appear any of the guys competing have that.

Ehh I would prefer a team that doesn't struggle to get past the 40 yard line.

Seems like he doesn't have a big time leg but is crazy accurate. If you can hit kicks consistently under 50 in this league you should have a spot.

You still need to be able to hit a good percentage, 75 at least I think, from over 50 in today's league to be a top kicker.

I agree. If the offense bogs down, getting a 55-yarder is good news. As we all have seen, th last couple of years and with the new rules on using "your" ball, kicking them up to 60 has become a lot more routine. Sure, money when close is essential, but I hope we have a guy who can really boom them too.

The league average last year was just over 70%, if you want to be a top kicker you need to do better than that.

Does a guy exist that can nail from 45 consistently yet has a big enough leg to give you a shot at 60?
I want him, but I don’t wanna rely on 60 yard field goals to win games. Ideally you need your kicker to boot one that far to win a game just a couple times a year but he has to be able to kick it that far. 45-50 yard automatic guy is all we should need if we build the offense right.
