It’s a joke. Same video has been around for years.

If he doesn't get surgery and we get five good years out of him before he falls apart, it is still an absolute steal of a pick. Anything beyond that is gravy.

i agree, kids a stud on teh field plus who know if he will even require more surgery in the future all these talking heads r just guessing, even the doctors r guess at this time

personally i think the pick was genius for a 4th rd pick, i would have been good earlier then 4th rd too cause our secondary sucked and needed addressing badly

I guess we'll find out about the knee pretty soon here, if he partakes in the rookie mini camp coming up

Will you PLEASE verify something is factual and current before copying and pasting. I believe Chucker has already warned you about this.

Rookie mini-camp can't get here soon enough so we can see what the staff thinks of his knee.

After Day 2 of the draft, I checked with eight teams about Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy with a simple question: "Is he off your board?" Medical concerns with his surgically repaired knee caused the top-10-to-12 talent to slide dramatically. Five said yes to the question; three said no. Las Vegas did extensive homework on the injury, and, at least as of now, the team is optimistic about his chances to play in 2026 and avoid a redshirt season or immediate surgery. Perhaps he needs a procedure sometime in the future, but the team is hopeful he can avoid that in the short term, with the caveat that it must get him in the building for the offseason program and see how he's progressing.

One rival team exec on the Raiders: "This felt like John Spytek's draft." That's considered a good thing. Pete Carroll's influence was heavy this time last year.

Wow, five of ten teams had him off of their boards. Time will tell, but I like the pick no matter how it plays out.

It wouldn't surprise me if those 5 teams would be unwilling to spend a 4th on him but I think it might be hyperbole for them to say he was off their boards completely. Get down to the 6th or 7th and I think he was likely a no-brainer for any team - even if they thought he was a 20% chance to have a few years of play. Not enough low picks pan out to pass on a guy with his talent level even with a huge injury risk.
