I was right about Bennett too. And Josh Jacobs. And Murray. And Ellis. And Shelby Harris. And Denico Autry. And Derek Carr. And Mack.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 7:08 pm Yes, you were right about Tyree Wilson.

You claimed that DeAndre Washington, who had 1200 yards and 7 TDs in his career, was better than Josh Jacobs, who has rushed for 7800 yards and 74 touchdowns and counting. WRONG.mranquales wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 7:15 pm I was right about Bennett too. And Josh Jacobs. And Murray. And Ellis. And Shelby Harris. And Denico Autry. And Derek Carr. And Mack.

Please provide evidence of your draft-day prognostications of Mack, Carr, Harris, Autry, or Ellis. Wayback Machine links are acceptable.
Meanwhile, you claimed AOC was a franchise QB.

I don't know about that. How long has Carr been gone? LOLBe_Easy_25 wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 6:51 pm Glad he is gone. I wish him no ill will.
Nonetheless, I’m glad his dead weight won’t be around and that his dead weight won’t be a subject of conversation for this team.

I don't know but it seems they are trying to convince themselves Wilson hasn't panned out "because Raiders."Xramfan wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 8:17 pm How much longer will the saints keep taking our hand me downs?

I can't blame the GM at the time for selecting TW. He was a consensus top 10, at a PREMIUM position. I was stoked with the pick myself. Prototypical size. Super high ceiling. It's not like he's terrible. Vs the run he can set an edge and either make the tackle or redirect inside.
Vs the pass last year I saw him get close to the QB, but always a second late. Just like he's always late off the snap. Just can't seem to improve in that area. Pat Graham is not a bad DC. I don't believe it's coaching. He's just a slow processor. We sent another lemon to the poor unsuspecting Saints.

More talented, and he was.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 7:21 pm You claimed that DeAndre Washington, who had 1200 yards and 7 TDs in his career, was better than Josh Jacobs, who has rushed for 7800 yards and 74 touchdowns and counting. WRONG.
I've done exactly that, multiple times, and yet here we are. Please provide evidence of your draft-day prognostications of Mack, Carr, Harris, Autry, or Ellis. Wayback Machine links are acceptable.
The Latavious Murray thread was locked as soon as it would come to fruition that I was right that Josh Jacobs wouldn't make it to a second contract.

When AOC was drafted, I stated that he was the best QB on the roster. AOC would go on to lead us to one game out of the playoffs. To this day, no QB has won more games than AOC, nor has a better win percentage than AOC.
So, in conclusion, I was right. You desperately trying to nitpick certain words, doesn't change the facts.

Dude’s entire philosophy is built off the notion that 3 wrongs make a right.

You didn't like a fourth-round CB who was literally here two seasons.
So what?
You literally cared more about this guy than everyone else here combined. I'd forgotten he even existed until you brought him up again. Why was it so personally important for you to see him fail?
I just don't get that mentality.
And your evidence for this assertion? NOTE: "I'm an expert in player evaluation because I say so" does not qualify. And if he was more talented than Jacobs, why did he get a grand total of four carries in the NFL after he left this organization? Why do you think you know better than 32 NFL coaching staffs?
If you've done so "multiple times," it should be no problem for you to provide links backing your claim. Again: This site is archived in the Internet Archive, aka the Wayback Machine. So links to previous discussions on this site do exist and can be provided.mranquales wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:46 pm I've done exactly that, multiple times, and yet here we are.
If you refuse to provide links, I urge you to remember the great Carl Sagan's admonition that anything asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.
If you really, genuinely believe the mods would lock an entire thread as part of some nefarious mustache-twirling conspiracy against you, you need professional help. And I mean that seriously. This is verging on literal paranoia. I've seen that up close, and it cannot be pleasant to experience.mranquales wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:46 pm The Latavious Murray thread was locked as soon as it would come to fruition that I was right that Josh Jacobs wouldn't make it to a second contract.
If you don't really believe that, shame on you for saying it. In the decade and change that I've known Corleone and chucker, I've found them both to be people of honesty and integrity. Your accusations are a filthy smear against them.
AOC has won exactly seven games in three seasons as a Raider, one being that 2023 game against the Chiefs where he didn't complete a pass after the first quarter (in other words, we won that game in spite of him, not because of him). Celebrating a guy with a career record of 7-10 is getting into "Best bobsledder in Jamaican history" territory.mranquales wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:46 pm When AOC was drafted, I stated that he was the best QB on the roster. Pro Tip: It's OK to have opinions. And it's OK to admit when you were wrong. Try it sometime.
