Obviously, Spytek and Leonard didn't think McDonald was all that. No need to panic.Roll Tide Raider wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Traded back to let the Texans draft the NT we needed, then reached for a safety. We will be the best 3-4 defense to ever play the scheme without a nose tackle.

Maybe in the seventh. Which i wouldn't be opposed to. Aiden is a free agent next year anyways. So going to need some kind of backupCWood24 wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Wonder when the 3rd QB will go & who it’ll be?
I’m thinking Carson Beck in the 3rd
Also wonder if we’ll draft another young QB to battle it out with AOC for the 3rd QB slot

The draft in Pittsburg looks boring as f[raiders_icon]ck. But the entertainment in here from keyboard wannabe nfl gm's is damn funny and entertaining.

Yup...after only 2 picks, our draft and our season and our future is doomed. SMH.Roll Tide Raider wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Traded back to let the Texans draft the NT we needed, then reached for a safety. We will be the best 3-4 defense to ever play the scheme without a nose tackle.

Very well could be. I just saw a lot more potential free safeties available later in the draft than nose tackle. Nose tackle is a big need in the defensive scheme we're running and we just can't plug some shlub in there and expect to keep blockers off our linebackers. That's my line of thinking.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:38 pm Obviously, Spytek and Leonard didn't think McDonald was all that. No need to panic.

Yeah we need a NT but the position is deep so there is time to vet our guy, as much as i’m a trenches guy i’ll say safety was as big a need as NTRoll Tide Raider wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Traded back to let the Texans draft the NT we needed, then reached for a safety. We didn't reach for a safety we took a 2nd round guy in the second round
If i was you stay away from bridges if you get you knicker in this much of a twist about not drafting the guy you wanted

We definitely need a DT but I believe there are more quality ones than in the secondary. I’m typically a trenches guy but we need both.Roll Tide Raider wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:43 pm Very well could be. If McNeil-Warren is there at 67 I wonder of we would double dip at Safety
Stukes & McNeil-Warren would be a hell of a combo
The meltdown would go into overload if that happens
If we don’t go OL tonight at all then the Samaritan's phone lines are gonna be overloaded with Raiders fans

I have it on good authority that there are those in this forum who believe they are more qualified than Spytek and LeonardSir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:38 pm Obviously, Spytek and Leonard didn't think McDonald was all that. No need to panic.
