Thank you...I mean none of the guys have even played one snap yet...let's wait and see what we've really got.Viper wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:21 pm I’m gonna wait to see the kid play before I call him a bust or baller personally

If Stukes was their guy all along, great move trading. If I’m being honest I’d rather have McDonald that was taken with our pick.

Ted Hurst in the 3rdLayneStaley wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:26 pm All I know is we needed playmakers on D, I feel like we have gotten more than a couple. I’m a little concerned with the interior of the D line, RT, and WR though. Supposedly Bech and Thornton have really been pushing each other this offseason but we need another guy.

Like I said earlier, first two round db's give me PTSD as a Raider fan. Rather build out trenches. I watched a few Arizona games and their pass defense was excellent.
25 and an ACL the year before last isn't ideal. But he ran a 4.33 and had a good season after the injury. So I guess that's a wash. The Raiders desperately needed an actual FS so I can't be upset with the pick, all things considered. The Raiders must really like Grant/Rogers on the Oline. Which is nice

He’s definitely a big bodied guy.

But that wasnt the tradeoff. It was Stukes + 26 higher slot position instead of MacDonald. Good pick considering Stukes atleticism, the total return and the positional scarcity.Viper wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:27 pm If Stukes was their guy all along, great move trading. Traded back to let the Texans draft the NT we needed, then reached for a safety. We will be the best 3-4 defense to ever play the scheme without a nose tackle.

Beck to Cards I bet.CWood24 wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Wonder when the 3rd QB will go & who it’ll be?
I’m thinking Carson Beck in the 3rd
Also wonder if we’ll draft another young QB to battle it out with AOC for the 3rd QB slot

Exactly right -- the sky is falling and we have not even finished this draft and installed new schemes, with new coaches, etc. and had one day of practice.Roll Tide Raider wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Traded back to let the Texans draft the NT we needed, then reached for a safety. I wouldn't mind one tomorrow. Trade AOC for whatever we can get, and give us a completely fresh QB room.CWood24 wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:32 pm Wonder when the 3rd QB will go & who it’ll be?

Rogers did play well at the end of last year so Kubiak will have a bunch of tape on him alreadyGoodtimes333 wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:28 pm Like I said earlier, first two round db's give me PTSD as a Raider fan. Grant played a little but if he is transitioning to RT then that year of almost sitting out learning to change everything up might be a blessing in disguise for us especially since he is a great fit for what Kubiak does
Still time though in a deep draft to address OL

Didn't say the sky is falling, but it was a stupid pick. Could have taken the anchor for the defense and passed. He was the best NT in the draft and we let him go right by.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 5:34 pm Exactly right -- the sky is falling and we have not even finished this draft and installed new schemes, with new coaches, etc. and had one day of practice.
