yes ...exactly !!!

we need a wr1 at x to threaten and open up offense bowers/bech/jeanty

I think WR is still a big need. Tucker is in the last year of his contract and its extremely difficult to get a quality receiver at a reasonable price in free agency if at all.

Given the size, Tucker probably won't see a 2nd deal with the Raiders, which probably at worst translates to a comp pick in 2028.

People misunderstand comp picks. You dont get comp picks for players unless you dont sign someone who cancels them out. Just like this year, with our projected cap room next off-season and poor prior drafting, its unlikely we will be in line for any comp picks next year.

Klint if anything is a very straight forward type of dude. I'm not a huge fan of Tre but I've seen with my own eyes the explosive ability he has. IMO, Nailor is going to show out at receiver. I'm a big believer in him. With the ground game emphasis + play action + Klints statements on Tre I'm quite certain he's going to have a solid role. Height to me again, is just not part of the equation at all. Tre proved he can play on shit offenses already
lol
When they brought up Geno he said,
Every possible avenue.
He just left out the but as in every possible avenue but...

Even if a player flat out sucks, I don't recall any coach saying it as such...and it's pretty much the same way with most any sports team.
Buddy Ryan said he would trade Earnest Jackson for a 6 pack of beer, and it didnt even have to be cold. Does that count?

Geno of course is definitely not one of those options. Coaches really drive home the adage that it is genuinely wiser to trust a man’s actions over his words.

I think it best we just lay down some Raider Station Silver Dollars on whether Tucker is a Raider next year. Attlya get in here and broker this “GoodTime” bet please.

Edit: I’ve got a smidge over 50k and you’ve got a hair over 20k. So let’s make it a 20k bet.
OK so I missed this the first time. Here is my take.

He is a free agent next year so his current deal will be redone whoever he plays for. I would say that up until now, he has played at the level of his contract. He would give a bit back to redo a deal with the Raiders but this season is where it matters. He is putting on an audition this year so I am willing to bet he plays up to get that next deal juiced up.

I think you have to go odds here, but that usually requires a stack. So how about this, fellas, you both throw down 20K on this bet.

Tre Tucker resigns with the Raiders and the odds sit at 5:1. So if he resigns, that is 100K and I will pony up the 80K If he does not resign, the loser pushes 20K to the winner and we call it a day. Fair? I like a good cage match and am willing to pay out to see one. But I get one last addendum to this. After each game, I want to see some good smack talk from the two of you.
