I don't think MD is a bad owner. He tries, it's just the decisions he makes and has made are piss poor. He pays well and seemingly treats everyone well. Now that we have a gm that seems competent, he's smart enough to keep out of those decisions

Right he's tried several things, so we should't say he's been complicit. And the Brady/Spytek is yet another try to right the ship.

last time i looked and read, your articles say he was involved from the beginning and had his employees move the ball forward at every turn, then took control and actually negotiated the deal and signed em, deals cant be made without the owners decisions and signatures...thats how corporate structures are made

ive only been on this board for a couple of weeks, seem like a good board to discuss everything related to the raiders but every once in a while its normal for people to disagree on things and a discussion starts, i dont understand why the troll or burner acct stuff comes up so fast though ...pretty childish if you ask me

normally the discussion come to a conclusion and the board continues discussions on other subjects

No, the articles lay out the other aspects. I read the attendance logs for all the BoA meetings. And there were around 10 or so. Davis was at two. One of the two was the signing meeting that happened in North Carolina. The other was the first meeting. That was in Dallas. The others were Badain and Jones. And Jones was at all the meetings. Badain and Jones hammered out the deal, they looped in Davis but they did the deal

everyone please read the stories attyla put up...and tell me if mark is a doofus that had zero to do with the success of forcing the move from oakland to nevada, tell me if mark was involved intimately at all stages of the high stakes negotiations (nfl owners,adelson,boa,nevada,oakland ect ect), tell me if it wasn't marks vision to go after vegas as a new home when everybody was against it due to market size and potential real estate bubble

Basically it was the idiot’s (council) in Oakland that could not keep the Raiders in Oakland and Mark had to leave; so he had to move the team…I would have preferred LA but that was not happening so he moved to Vegas…..Mark Davis is actually loaded now; don’t think he had a lot of money when he was Oakland; but now he a very rich man
