I could see this guy being our Ronald Curry, hopefully without all the achilles issues.

It would be nice for Nailor to surprise us and be a substantially better player than he was in Minnesota. I just don't know what to make of him due to the sample size. On paper Tucker is a better receiver already but I've seen him with my eyes and the guy has stone hands. Maybe he can take over his spot and make us feel better about letting him walk. Nothing to do but wait and see.

Not hard to see why the Vikings let him walk given they are set with their top 2 WR’s and Addison has another year on his rookie deal.

I’m cautiously optimistic but I do agree it’s a lot of money for projected upside.

...supposedly, the Vikings, patriots, us, and another team were vying to sign him, so I'm not sure that 'let him walk' would best describe the way that it went down.

I think this was a solid signing. He has good hands and rarely drops a ball.

If you don't look at the money, yes lol.

Look at the money receivers get in general. Target share is a point that needs to be emphasized. When he had to be the wr2 when Addison was suspended/injured he did very well. Advanced stats proves that he just gets open, whether it be slot or outside & he has great hands. If he was 6'5 230 I bet he gets more praise. He's about the size of JSN in Seattle

Dude was the #3 WR on a team with 2 studs ahead of him. He is a solid #2 on many teams. We have Tre Tucker and a bunch of young unknowns, this a good signing and he will put up career stats this year.

And we may not storm out of the gates this season. 5 wins would be nice. 3 lost due to our kicker being Gay. “Big QB” draft next year. Leaving us in the position to either drop back and load up on picks, or the idea I like, being perfectly setup to grab the best WR in the draft. Hopefully Jeremiah Smith.

I have never really watched Nailor play a game...... and so all I've seen have been highlights and highlight reel scouting isn't a great process. But I have to say I love the way he runs routes in his highlights, so he has the ability to make plays and maybe just needs more opportunities and consistency. His opportunities were always going to be limited considering who else the Vikings had in the pecking order at WR and TE.

As a FA WR, I liked Pierce's toughness and competitiveness at the catch point, but his route running by comparison looked awkward and sloppy. Pierce is likely going to be a better player, but I think Nailor might end up a better pickup at the price we paid even though it seems high for his previous production. Time will tell.

This is one of my favorite FA pickups. Along with Linderbaum and Dean.
