To pass the time we could all rewatch the hockey game again.

If you see my name in yellow that means my suggestion isn’t found to be funny yet

I read that they do a sled push for OL at the combine, but I have never seen recorded results for it. Apparently it happens but they don't record it. Drills like this would be way more interesting than a bench press if they figured out how to measure it. They should expand on the Indy format. Even casual fans understand how meaningless the 40 yd dash is.

Do they do maximum lift or maximum number of reps at 225? What is the record?

Seeing our need for OL it’ll be interesting to watch the measurements, broad jump, and shuttle times of the OL prospects…

Only one I know of is ponds from Indiana. And only know that because he brought it up at his media availability and that they asked him a couple questions about Mendoza

One of the online guys who is there has said that he asked a number of players if the Raiders had scheduled an interview with them and all said no. But the guy asking seems a bit of a fringe guy so he might not have access to a lot of players and may not have access to the good players.

I remember last year there were posts on our, I'll call it official" rookie interviews. Like we could have 30 or something.
This year they either haven't held them, which is doubtful, or are being tight liped on it.
If so impressive.

Though a search i read they interviewed 2 players.
Lee Hunter (DT, Texas Tech) rankes 35 on one board, and
Brandon Cisse (CB, South Carolina) who rankes 33.

Regarding my post of flipping the oline, id be ecstatic if the Raiders brought in one fa and the solution to the rest is in house as Kubiak alluded to. That would free up a lot of capital for defense.

I think we're all curious on how this unfolds. March 9th cant come soon enough.

Each team can have up to 60 interviews with players at the combine, of up to 15 minutes each. The duration of the interviews gives them some limited value and I don't think there's a big correlation between who teams interview and who they draft.

Teams are allowed to have 30 player visits outside of the combine (that might be where your 30 number came from). Those are much more involved and helpful, but obviously most of the guys you meet with get drafted elsewhere. Last year we did meet with Jeanty, Grant and Rogers - so that's a significant chunk of our 2025 draft class.

Spytek said that Powers Johnson is finally healthy and that he loves his game. He also said he would be working with Kubiak and the Oline coaches to get the best 5 out there and playing regardless of who they are. It was said in the context of being at the combine so who knows what the plan is. I would like to get a really cerebral center and a ball buster RT in free agency. Unfortunately the best is Eluemunor who we let walk and he may not be interested in a return to the Raiders.

Tek said he loves the interviews. He looks for excitement in the moment and the chance to talk a bit of football with the young guys. Said he knows it is a grind for the players because they might do 10 interviews in a day (almost two hours) but he enjoys hearing how the guys are excited to play for a team.

For what it is worth.
