Dennison has a lot of experience as oline coach. The 49ers assistant oline coach is probably an option due to connections. Benton is ideal but if the Seahawks promote from within they probably don't allow him to go with Klint even if he wants to

The Seahawks don't even have to promote Benton to keep him from coming with Klint, unless he's going for an OC position.

I think Dennison is the assistant most likely to follow Klint. He's been with the Kubiaks long enough that he's basically family, beginning from when he and Gary were Bronco teammates in the 80s.

I was thinking if they promote Peetz/Outen/Jonoko over an outside hire they keep the system in place. Not allowing Benton to make a lateral move. If they hire an outside guy maybe that guy brings some of his own people in & it frees up Benton

I think they will keep the system in place, it works for Darnold. They want the best guy to lead it and hope the position coaches want to stay with maybe a bump in pay.

The Raider job, probably 2 years minimum. Seahawk job, who knows, same personnel, wrong play caller and it shows, McDonald may scrap it all and find someone else for 2027. Oddly, the Seahawk job is a bit higher risk, higher reward than the Raider job, Kubiak is going to be here for a while, guys like Benton, Jonoko, he trusts and probably will be around us multiple seasons.

I just realized if the Seahawks don't promote Outten to OC he can be had. Hes assistant oline coach. So if the Seahawks don't allow Benton to move laterally the Raiders could offer Outten the oline coach spot in promotion. If they blocked both moves that's pretty shitty & sour grapes territory. Seems to me the Raiders have a decent shot of getting either guy for oline

Great hire! This guy has won multiple SB’s and his special teams units always play well.

It feels like most guys still under contract from last year will stay. I'm happy about McCullough at RB coach and really happy with Steckel at TE coach. I think Steckel has a real future and that can only be enhanced by working under Kubiak.

I honestly never know what to think of a ST coach hire. It seems like every ST coordinator around the league is listed as "highly respected" and yet they just rotate around the league getting fired and hired with mixed results.

I'm old enough to remember our own "elite ST coach" who couldn't find a return man on the roster, until he moved on to GB and found Keiesean Nixon on the roster there. Weird he couldn't find him on the roster in LV. I suppose he was too busy handwriting thank you letters to his players.

Are there any ST coaches who aren't older than dirt?

Joe DeCamillis’ two Super Bowl rings are Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos, and Super Bowl 56 with the Los Angeles Rams.

In 2015–16, DeCamillis coached special teams in Denver under head coach Gary Kubiak, during that time, Klint Kubiak was also on the Broncos’ staff as an offensive assistant.

Hes certainly experienced and competent. Kubiak likely familar with him. Fine hire with a first time head coach.
