I was rooting for you guys too when DC4 went there. Carr was an absolute beast in his offense for those few games... until the wheels fell off and the entire offense was injured, then Carr himself got injured.

Kubiak can scheme the hell out of an offense, I've been a fan of his for years. He always gets the most out of his RB's in the run and pass game... McCaffrey in SF, then Kamara, then Walker/Charbonnet in Seattle... I hope he does the same for Jeanty

What was the injury situation like that year? What was the timeline of the injuries? I recall the Saints lit up the Panthers & then the Cowboys. After that I'm not sure but I do know there was an onslaught of injuries. Welcome & thank you for the respect and decency!

We were devastated by injuries on offense, which started with our all-pro OC going down in the Philly game, only 1 OL played more than 14 games. We lost #1, #2, and #3 RBs, QB1 for more than 1/2 the season. WR #1,2,3 , TE#1 and 2 We were picking up guys off the street by wk 10 . We had Philly beat in wk 3 if not for a 2 DBs runninginto each other with 2 mins left. Had ATL beat if not for a nit-picking DPI that let them hit a 57yd FG. It was moved because it was a Carr post..... yes it went on to talk about Kubiak, but inevitably the replies to it are all about Derek Carr and then this becomes a Carr forum. Before Carr there was Terrelle Pryor. Now Maxx Crosby is trying to stake his claim. Nature abhors a vacuum.

You guys don't need to worry about Carr's contract. He has already publicly said he has made enough money in this game and from the last contract. This was when he was saying he would retire than play for another team.

Davis has the leverage now after the comments and Carr has mentioned taking less money.

He's going the route of Tom Brady. He will get paid handsomely but he won't be one of the highest paid anymore. Like I mentioned before....Carr's contract right now is a bargain when people were complaining.

Just have to appreciate Carr because before him we never had a player that would commit and play with us for so long (QB). He will be a legend with the organization. Ring of Honor?
