Kubiak can scheme the hell out of an offense, I've been a fan of his for years. He always gets the most out of his RB's in the run and pass game... McCaffrey in SF, then Kamara, then Walker/Charbonnet in Seattle... I hope he does the same for Jeanty
No you were "rooting" for Carr period....And the team lit it up for all of 2 games, the first 2 of the season against scrubs. Then the wheels fell off...Saints were doomed the minute they signed the Fresno Fraud aka The Turd aka Full Fetal aka Biggest Pussy To Ever Play QB In The NFL........... :paperbag:

After that I'm not sure but I do know there was an onslaught of injuries. Welcome & thank you for the respect and decency!
They lit it up the first 2 weeks against scrubs...After that The Fresno Fraud turned back into.........The Turd.

I remember how Geno lit up the eventual Super Bowl bound Patriots in Week 1. Maybe there’s somethin’ to that saying about how you finish a season being more important than how you start it.

That pos coward is persona non grata around here. This is just the beginning. Eventually he’ll be scrubbed from Raider record books, and in time, the NFL entirely.

One day, through everyone’s hard work and perseverance, we’ll be able to forget the excruciating embarrassment that is the “Milquetoast Mamba”.

We lost #1, #2, and #3 RBs, QB1 for more than 1/2 the season. WR #1,2,3 , TE#1 and 2 We were picking up guys off the street by wk 10 . We had Philly beat in wk 3 if not for a 2 DBs runninginto each other with 2 mins left. Had ATL beat if not for a nit-picking DPI that let them hit a 57yd FG. Kubiak did a great job with what he had to work with. I'm a KK fan , that's why I'm here
All that really sucks, but at least it saved you the inevitable Derek Carr late season crash out, where he fumbles the ball at the goal line, throws the ball away on 4th and goal, and then fails to cross the 50 yard line against one of the worst teams in football, all in consecutive weeks to sink any hope you had for that season.

4th and game down 7 in a playoff game in Cincinnati, deep in the redzone. With a CLEAN pocket he throws into triple coverage short of the goal line. Interception..

It was moved because it was a Carr post..... yes it went on to talk about Kubiak, but inevitably the replies to it are all about Derek Carr and then this becomes a Carr forum. Before Carr there was Terrelle Pryor. Now Maxx Crosby is trying to stake his claim. Nature abhors a vacuum.

I've moved a shadow topic of this into the OG forum so it's easier to find for those who want it to be all about Derek.

Lamonica_D wrote: Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:14 pm It’s a nice feeling to have an elite QB.

I feel bad for the teams that don’t. Not.

Looking like Rodgers out there just flicking those angles and wrist. Too damn good.

And too damn accurate compared to other QBs. Those ball placements are insane.
Always fun to revisit this post.

Then there is this "gem":

You guys know he already came out and said he's a Raider or retires and openly said he's made enough money in his career.

Not many players go out and say those kind of things.

I will find it but I believe it was early in preseason in one of his pressers.

As for coaches....everyone wants this job. Good players and great veteran QB in Vegas with new facilities. This is the #1 job in the league.

So I was waiting for a software update to complete and asked myself, after Carr shit the bed in his one and only playoff game, how long did it take a certain poster to get over his utter depression? And the answer? Almost two months....holy shit

Lamonica_D wrote: Mon Oct 18, 2021 10:42 am You guys don't need to worry about Carr's contract. He has already publicly said he has made enough money in this game and from the last contract. This was when he was saying he would retire than play for another team.

Davis has the leverage now after the comments and Carr has mentioned taking less money.

He's going the route of Tom Brady. He will get paid handsomely but he won't be one of the highest paid anymore. Like I mentioned before....Carr's contract right now is a bargain when people were complaining.

Just have to appreciate Carr because before him we never had a player that would commit and play with us for so long (QB). He will be a legend with the organization. Ring of Honor?

where did Lamonica D go?
