The NFL Conference Champs Game Day Thread (AKA The Raiders Coach Game)
Here it is fellas, the final game before the big game. Who you got, what is ideal for the Raiders and are there free agents playing that you like for us next year. Popcorn at the ready, beer in your hand. I have some Blue Moon on hand. What are you making to enjoy the game? I am making a simple chicken and rice. Weather here is horrible so I Amazon Fresh'd my menu for the week so that I did not have to rush to the store. Ah the joy of winter.
I guess I will go with:
Pats vs Rams for the final game. But anyone other than the Broncos is absolutely fine. I like Stafford, I don't mind Maye. Vrabel getting a crack at another ring after TN dumped him would be justice in my mind for that bitch Amy Adams. And yea, everyone I know around here hates that....female body part....lol

Defender panicked and it was an obvious hold. You want to let them play but you cant reward bad play

they all are, but you don’t see them called at the end of games like this.

Are you comparing California to Texas and Florida? Most things in California are going to be more expensive because the economy is strong and wages are high. Income taxes are higher in CA than those other two states, but they have higher taxes in other areas, such as property tax.16 to 88 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 6:37 pm tell me, Texas is a state as Florida is a state along with California. The DMV fees here, heating and electricity, gas prices right on down the line. It’s ridiculous how expensive it is.

You're right. This is the first time in NFL history that a holding call was called at the end of an important game...16 to 88 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 6:48 pm they all are, but you don’t see them called at the end of games like this.

Sorry, but if that’s the case, why didn’t they call the face mask earlier on Stafford?DanKD wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 6:48 pm Defender panicked and it was an obvious hold. You want to let them play but you cant reward bad play

Fairpoint. Allow me to rephrase that it’s a rarity. You see something like that. There was no need to make that call. It’s not like he tackled him or something. lolBoKnows81 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 6:51 pm You're right. There's no conspiracy. The Seahawks won the game. There were missed calls both ways during the game. The refs aren't crooked, they just get stuff wrong.

Nope - Darnold wouldn't have done shit behind our line either. In the end, we probably get a stud QB on a rookie contract, and that is the best situation to be in going into next year.pfish57 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 6:53 pm I guess it's safe to say me & Bo were right about the Darnold vs Geno debate lmao!!!

Darnold would have been better than Geno, but not good enough to make us a good team. We might have won enough to still have Pete Carroll and not have the first overall pick. I've moved on from that debate and into 2026. It's time for a new coach and Mendoza
