The NFL Conference Champs Game Day Thread (AKA The Raiders Coach Game)
Here it is fellas, the final game before the big game. Who you got, what is ideal for the Raiders and are there free agents playing that you like for us next year. Popcorn at the ready, beer in your hand. I have some Blue Moon on hand. What are you making to enjoy the game? I am making a simple chicken and rice. Weather here is horrible so I Amazon Fresh'd my menu for the week so that I did not have to rush to the store. Ah the joy of winter.
I guess I will go with:
Pats vs Rams for the final game. But anyone other than the Broncos is absolutely fine. I like Stafford, I don't mind Maye. Vrabel getting a crack at another ring after TN dumped him would be justice in my mind for that bitch Amy Adams. And yea, everyone I know around here hates that....female body part....lol

Exactly. I think he'd have been better than Garrapolo, even though it would still have sucked.rhumbob wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 3:01 pm We would have been just as bad as we were with Garrapolo. For,what...$30mm less?

Absolutely, but what do you think a better QB does? Wouldn’t a better QB just “feel” all that open space? Wouldn’t a better QB know that we’re not at a gamble away the game moment yet? What would Mendo do?

Its just smart in the weather conditions.chucker wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 3:00 pm That's just what I was thinking...... best chance at a first down without risk, and it worked. Can't believe the Broncos weren't waiting for it.

Which ones do you mean?GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 3:00 pm Who are the other teams as committed as the Pats and Donks at wearing the worst version of their uniform while having an incredible version in their uni history?

The fumble lost them the game. He wasn't playing very well after the td driveOaktown Superman wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 2:58 pm Kinda hard to judge him given the elements. Early on he looked pretty good.

100 percent did the same.chucker wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 12:55 pm I'm rooting against the Broncos, but I dislike both teams so much that I keep getting confused and sometimes root against the Pats on some plays. This is a fcked up way to watch football.

I do think New England loses to the eventual NFC team, no matter which one.

Yeah, they adjusted and he wasn’t the same. But the elements didn’t help him, either. Maye looked bad as well.DanKD wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 3:03 pm The fumble lost them the game. He wasn't playing very well after the td drive
