Yep. Miami's D is revealing some concerning weaknesses like pocket awareness and pre-snap reads, but he's gonna be the pick. And he's going to need a concrete block wall for an O-line.

Getting to be crunch time, this should tell us more about Mendoza than at any point in this entire season.

They're letting Bain just tee off 1 on 1 in obvious pass downs when their tackles have already proven they can't hold up.

They're getting stale in play calling in general. Play action pass on first down is probably money

The good news is that he's delivering very accurate throws under pressure. The bad news is they're not calling any PI and the receivers are losing contested balls. Even Sarrat bobbled a wide open catch which is unusual

IU OLine getting abused
FM has zero time to throw and when he does it’s a dropped pass or the Refs are letting them play result incomplete…

Miami is winning the defensive trenches for sure. They have two 1st round edges and solid nose tackle. If Mendoza had the time Beck has hed have time to find open receivers. What Mendoza has that Beck lacks is an accurate quick release, which is what Brady had.

I wish we already had a QB so we could pick Bain.

Fernando isn't pulling a Stroud, throwing awful passes in harms way under pressure. He's taken some huge hits and still standing in there without shitting himself. Their pass blocking concepts + down and distance has done him zero favors
