Arm strength can be improved. Tom Brady had more of a mid arm entering the league and improved it. When they got Moss he said he trained to get 7 more yards on his deep ball with accuracy too

Yep! I mentioned this in another thread too. If he has the committment to take each offseason and improve, he can further develop his arm strengthGoodtimes333 wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 6:22 pm Arm strength can be improved. Freeman won't play in a bowl game, but will show up to be a halftime analyst for the national Championship...what a joke!

They're make great tackles. No YAC.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 6:20 pm Yup. Disciplined. Methodical. Just keeps taking what’s there and slowing cutting off your airflow.
Curious to see what the halftime adjustments are. Miami has to gamble more on Offense if they want to get anything going. That D of theirs has been on the field a long time too. Might result in some big runs by the Hoosiers.

As a young Raider fan I was playing my brothers Madden 97. I would just loft deep passes to James Jett & Tim Brown every snap with Jeff George. Brought back that memory. I love the Raiders man

I'm not saying he has an arm like Josh Allen, but he has plenty of arm strength.Hellbound wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 6:20 pm It's ok to criticize him. He's not the perfect qb and he has a solid arm. Nothing to write home about
It's generally (in the media) an inaccurate assessment of him as a prospect. We'll see his full range at Pro Day and the "adequate arm" tag will likely be discarded, although it's possible I'm wrong.

We better get him a new line. He will be ruined behind the current version.

This is good. We get to see Mendoza play with the pressure on him in the biggest game of his life. Evaluating him in a close game is better imo.

They're giving Mendoza almost no opportunity to throw on 1st or 2nd down

Generally I agree, but who else would we even consider, a LB from OSU with the pick?LayneStaley wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 6:54 pm This is good. We get to see Mendoza play with the pressure on him in the biggest game of his life. Evaluating him in a close game is better imo.
