On to the chiefs.
The Raiders finish the year at home hosting a chiefs team that isn’t going to the playoffs and is without Kermit.

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (illness) is doubtful to play in Week 18 against the Raiders.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid initially said Worthy would be listed as questionable to play. Instead, the team lists him as doubtful. We do not expect him to play. The Chiefs will likely attempt to run out the clock in a lost season against the lowly Raiders.

It is the flu season after all.

The Raiders have run screens at the fourth-highest rate in the league this season, and the Chiefs have allowed just a 24% success rate to opponents on screens, second best among all defenses.

Actually if the Giants win; from what I am reading that even if raiders win over Chiefs; the raiders are 99.5% of getting the number 1 pick….
Be nice because I really don’t want to see the Chiefs beat the Raiders….I really don’t think we can beat the Chiefs anyway, but it would be a nice win….

What is the other 0.5%? The chance that the pick is stripped by the NFL?SuperRaider wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 3:36 am Actually if the Giants win; from what I am reading that even if raiders win over Chiefs; the raiders are 99.5% of getting the number 1 pick….

Jets have to have a lot of help to get the number one pick; think it almost impossible but there is a chanceCruisin with Tooz wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 11:40 am What is the other 0.5%? The chance that the pick is stripped by the NFL?

If Dallas loses they have a chance to move up and pick 11 rather than 14.SuperRaider wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 3:36 am Actually if the Giants win; from what I am reading that even if raiders win over Chiefs; the raiders are 99.5% of getting the number 1 pick….

From all accounts, there is zero chance Jets can draft #1 after the Falcons beat the Rams.SuperRaider wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 12:33 pm Jets have to have a lot of help to get the number one pick; think it almost impossible but there is a chance

Reid has 4 more seasons on his contract and will likely retire at that point. He's currently 41 wins away from passing George Halas for most wins all time, I'm sure it's a record he'd like to have (who wouldn't). If Reid can win tomorrow, he'll need 10 wins per season average to get the record, not an easy task, but it's doable, but every win matters to him, and this is one he won't let get away.

If this is a record he wants, then he has to win the games that are winnable.Corleone wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 1:39 pm Also been thinking about this a lot, Reid is not throwing this game, he's actually on the cusp of history. Reid isn't mailing this one in to f[raiders_icon]ck with our draft position. Don't let the optics fool you, he is uber competitive and has the record to prove it.
It's been a disappointing season for them he would like nothing better than to send us out with an ass kicking. It's Raider week and the Chiefs take that shit seriously, apparently more seriously than we have taken it for the last 24 years.

Just f[raiders_icon]cking lose. Hate to say it but I like consistency and losing fits like a glove. No tie breakers involved.

If Reid were to throw this game (which I do not believe he will), it would be to improve his draft position and not screw the Raiders. The Raiders are not even a pimple on his ass and he could care less about them. We as fans hate KC. He looks at the Raiders as 2 easy W's and sees no rivalry at all.
