On to the chiefs.

The Raiders finish the year at home hosting a chiefs team that isn’t going to the playoffs and is without Kermit.

Why? Pickett is terrible and just as bad as Geno. Why would we want to f[raiders_icon]ck this up? What good is Cam Miller starting gonna do?

Cowboys @ Giants early game. If Giants get the win there, it is very likely our game wont matter. We would get number 1 pick even with a win. Been rooting for losses since week 4 or 5. Would be nice to actually root for a win this week.

Giants win, we beat the Chiefs by 40. Perfect way to end the season.

Raiders head coach Pete Carroll said Geno Smith (ankle) has a “significant” injury.

For those of you keeping up-to-the-minute updates on the end of the Raiders season — there’s a few of you, right? — Carroll said yesterday that Smith had a high-ankle sprain. He apparently does not have that, after all. But what he does have remains significant. The end result is probably still Kenny Pickett starting in Week 18 against the Chiefs in a game that the Raiders clearly want to lose. Pickett does, admittedly, give them a leg up in that competition. We’ll see if he can match Chris Olodokun throw for throw.

I don't know all the SOS stuff, but with a Giants win and a Raiders win there could still be a couple teams with 3 wins

Of all the 3 win teams only the Giants have the SOS advantage. So a win by them would be good thing. Of the other 3 win teams only the Jets are close enough that it could get interesting. There are six game next week that will swing SOS. 3 Involving Jets opponents and 3 involving our opponents.
Jets: 3 Games that can swing their SOS. These are the 3 teams they played that they didn't play entire division.
Dallas @ Giants
Chargers @ Denver
Tenn @ Jax
Teams in bold were on Jets schedule, so we want them to win.

Raiders: these are the 3 teams that we didn't play entire division.
Detroit @ Chicago
Cleveland @ Cinn
Miami @ New England
Teams in bold were on Raiders schedule, so we want them to lose.

If the Raiders win and the Jets lose, I think all 6 of these games would have to break in the Jets favor for them to overcome SOS difference. I think we would want the Cowboys/Giants game to break in the Jets favor for SOS, cause it would also be very much in our favor for Giants to win, in case we win. That still leaves the other five games to break in the Jets favor for them to have chance at passing us in SOS.
I will be rooting for Giants win, cause I don't think every game goes against us, and I don't wont to have to sweat out the Chiefs game.

I read most of yesterday's game thread and the funniest thing I read was blaming Geno for throwing that touchdown pass. Not Carroll for calling the play, hell not Carroll for not just kicking the field goal. Some of you all have Geno on the brain. Geno just did what he was told to do, find the end zone.

This week when Pickett does something good, and he will at some point, are you all going to blame Pickett for doing what he was told to do, which is play as good as he can? I get it, you are all panicking that we are going to mess up the tank.

Don't believe if the Giants win and we win that we are a lock for #1 pick, but very close to it.

But as near as I can tell we are a lock for #2.

Don’t forget that Kelce is probably going to retire. Taylor will be there. Mommy Kelce and his brother too. Chiefs will want to send him off with a win. Let’s give it to him.
