There is like three games left before the season ends.
On paper the Raiders are no threat to win but you never know.

Hoping for a competitive game. I doubt we can win, but that's why they play the games.

Speaking of QBs not very tall, how about Malik Willis last night? Proof that coaching matters. I would be ecstatic to have such a mobile guy running our offense. Was he perfect? No. But he came in on a moments notice and looked more than capable. He’s a backup on a well coached team and better than anything we have on our roster.

I don't see an avenue to offensive success for us. I guess that's a success.

Is he really better than anything we have? I believe we are so ill prepared and poorly coached that our players look a lot worse than they really are. At least some of them. Bad coaching, bad plans, many bad players. "The Black Hole" indeed.Viper wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:42 am Speaking of QBs not very tall, how about Malik Willis last night? Proof that coaching matters. Sure looks better to me, especially with his ability to move the pocket and escape the rush. Literally no comparison to what we currently have. Even the best O lines allow pressure and you need to have some wheels at times.
He also displays placement, arm strength and smarts. Tough to say we’ve had that in a long time.

Yep. Good coaches get the most out of their players. Most players are average, which is why there's such thing as "average." Put most of these guys on a team like Green Bay and they'd be performing well above what they are now. Instead, they look a lot worse than they really are, which damages their career longevity.rhumbob wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 8:36 am Is he really better than anything we have? ETA: Oh yeah, we play a game today, but it doesn't seem worth mentioning as it's going to be another exercise in clownish embarrassment.

Better? I think so. How much better? I really don't know. He isn't a franchise QB, I know that much.rhumbob wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 8:36 am Is he really better than anything we have? I'm so sick of seeing Geno, but if he gives us a better chance at losing then I guess I can close my eyes when he's on the field. SMH

Thought the Giant could eek out a win. Oh well. Pivotal must lose next week.
Only question I have is at what point do I turn this game off. I don't think I make it to half time.
